  1. The meltdown of the Arctic sea ice continues (another 5,000km2 lost when ice ‘should be forming’), and sets the scene for an ice-free Arctic this year, with all the climate disruption, rapid sea level rise and demolition of current economic and social arrangements a severely overheated planet implies.

Unsurprisingly, the atmospheric carbon dioxide level is at a record high and is increasing by a record annual amount, exacerbating the aforementioned predicament as well as ocean acidification.

With 3 months of the rising atmospheric CO2 season still left we will witness numerous environmental records broken this year -all for the worse, of course.

And the politics and journalism of abysmal failure continue, of course.

  2. Under ‘General chitchat’, since our nations broadcasters have been SO lax in peeling back the propaganda onion surrounding ‘the Wests’ backing of Fascist Jihad in Syria.
    Journalists, read on and weep.

How Turkey supports the jihadists by Thierry Meyssan.

“Russia questioned the future of Turkey when it delivered to the Security Council an intelligence report concerning Turkey’s activities in support of jihadists. The document includes about ten revelations which implicate the activities of the MIT. The problem is that each of the operations listed refers back to operations in which the same actors worked with the United States or their allies against Russia. This information adds to that which is already available concerning the personal connections between President Erdoğan and the Al-Qaïda banker, and the information about Erdoğan’s son and the illegal use of the oil stolen by Daesh.”
