  1. Y’all can stop tweeting that Aerosmith / The Donald story now. Two days later, we’ve all seen it.

    Iv recently seen Facebook statuses, complaints about people liking generic posts. But those same friends not liking or commenting on TPP or political related statuses.

    Is Twitter the proper place to post political stuff?

    (Where is the Labour Party on this ?!…. This provision in the TPP attempts to justify the police persecution of Hager and any other investigative journalists….and turns New Zealand into a police fascist state…at the same time protecting white collar criminals and political corruption)

        ..but did you know that when the herald first published littles’ ‘bottom lines’..that he rushed to tell them that they weren’t ‘bottom-lines’..just things he could ‘oppose’..?

        ..and i am not sure who that reflects worse on..

      Then follows a revolution. You cant keep the masses down without mass killing of us all, or is the next move by these zealots to mass exterminate us?

      • Two thoughts spring to mind. The first is to dodge around WTO rules and avoid retaliatory tariffs by making the protectionism less visible. The second is that the income from a stealth tariff (ie premium freight and transport costs) goes into the public coffers, whereas the additional income from an unequal law flows completely into the hands of the firms that are favored — which makes the lobbyist more money depending on who’s interest are represented.

      • @CG – it’s not that hard to deal with the masses. Scare them shitless and tell them this is for their protection. There could be a few dissidents, label them as terrorists etc etc

  5. The judge in the case of Groser withholding secrets of ttp,says it was illegal,which vindicates jane kelseys case,however the judge has given Grosser 6 months to release the documents ,what a farce.

  6. Watched Parliament this afternoon. Still no Meteria Turei there! I was hoping she’d be back after being absent for quite a while last session. But no!

    Anyone know what’s going on here? Because for me, Meteria (and Russel) is all that’s keeping me going at present with the NZ Greens, since co leader James Shaw helped out FJK recently on the flag issue!

    Hope Meteria is OK and planning a return to Parliament soon. We need her there.
