Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

Moderation rules are more lenient for this section, but try and play nicely.

Hey everyone, thank you for contacting us with the problems you are having at the moment with posting comments.

While you may be told your message has been trashed or disallowed or denied, they are in fact all remaining on site.

TDB Recommends NewzEngine.com

So please be patient and your comments will turn up.

We are working on the problem and will have a solution soon.

PS -While we are having this discussion about comments, we have always felt moderated comments were a way to go to avoid trolling. The Internet can be a pretty rude place at times so we wanted to try and reduce that.

How would everyone feel about

a) Direct posts to blogs.

b) Moderation after publishing (if we went down this path we would need volunteer moderators).

c) We are going to start clamping down more on personal abuse between commentators and would like to open up thoughts form you the readers about what you would like to see in terms of comments and what the rules should be.

Please leave comments below. Thoughts on what we will do will be published middle of next month.

Cheers TDB Team

  1. Who is fooling who with lies about the war against Syria, which just so incidentally owns the Golan Heights?

    ‘Unsourced Syria’

    http://www.rt.com/shows/crosstalk/314795-syria-military-assistance-isis/

“An unsourced story originating on an Israeli website claimed Russia was about to deploy significant military assistance to Syria to fight Islamic State. This set the media aflame and had Washington issuing warnings. The story was not only unsourced, but also untrue. But it did reveal how the West frames its illegal war against Syria.

    • Yes Chooky,

The finger needs to be pointed at these Oil hungry cowboys of the west and their Governments, for yet again interfering in foreign affairs then in 1928 and now again.

hey are clearly responsible for the human tragedies that has seen the middle east on fire again, with millions fleeing to Europe to regroup and make war there on these thugs that destroyed their home country now.

here was how it all begun from a meeting in 1928

      http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/specialseries/2013/04/201344105231487582.html

Three men had an appointment at Achnacarry Castle – a Dutchman, an American and an Englishman.

The Dutchman was Henry Deterding, a man nicknamed the Napoleon of Oil, having exploited a find in Sumatra. He joined forces with a rich ship owner and painted Shell salesman and together the two men founded Royal Dutch Shell.

The American was Walter C. Teagle and he represents the Standard Oil Company, founded by John D. Rockefeller at the age of 31 – the future Exxon. Oil wells, transport, refining and distribution of oil – everything is controlled by Standard oil.

The Englishman, Sir John Cadman, was the director of the Anglo-Persian oil Company, soon to become BP.
Their vision was that production zones, transport costs, sales prices – everything would be agreed and shared. And so began a great cartel, whose purpose was to dominate the world, by controlling its oil.

  2. Just viewed a video called TESTAMENT OF YOUTH a film about the first world war. This must be the best story told about the war ever.
Now in this day and age we realise the youth of that generation were wiped out not by defence of a country but by greedy warmongers intent on power control and money, just as the wars now are being carried out by warmongers and blamed on middle eastern people defending their homeland.
The film shows the misery and devastation caused by these people.
Any leader who sends people to fight a war for the benefit of profit is
either stupidly misguided or complicit, not a leader at all ,but a puppet who profits by the death of thousand if not millions of young men.
    Shame on the profiteers.

  3. Jeremy Corbyn just won the labour leadership in the UK. Great news – means people are finally waking up, worldwide, to the dirty politics in power. Yes, it is time for a new kind of politics!
    May the snowball effect begin….
