    • yes once the Greens get over their PC preciousness…and stop accusing Labour of “crude racial profiling” … when Labour is at last confronting the most urgent issue of NZ assets of housing and land being taken over by foreign buy ups

…( dont forget the Greens in Australia betrayed Kevin Rudd on climate change and backed Gillard and then the opposition…both of which had no interest in measures against climate change….the Green Party brand is not infallible or incorruptible… imo Kevin Rudd is/ was a great Greenie and he came from Labour!….David Cunliffe could also be a great Minister concerned with Climate Change …he has the quals and ability in spades

…. NZF in coalition with Labour is most likely ..Winston worked very well with Helen Clark and was a brilliant Minister of Foreign Affairs…He has always staunchly been against sale of State Assets and foreign ownership of NZ assets and land…imo he deserves to be offered PM at least for part of the time ( a third?) …so he is first Maori PM ( this is what Hooton is mooting for him if he joins in coalition with Nactional…but they are desperate to hold on to power …and he brought them down last time over asset sales…so doomed )

I also think Kelvin Davis of TTT should become a list MP and step aside for Mana/Int and Hone….this would heal old wounds between Maoridom Left and Labour

      • Absolutely agree with your sentiments CHOOKY. Spot on there my friend.

Next election result – a government coalition made up of Labour/Green/NZ First/Internet Mana, while FJK and co conspirators will be doing time in prison, charged with misleading Parliament, criminal activities and treason against NZers!

As FJK is so fond of Fight Clubs (keeping favour with the five eyes club, to the extent of going to war), he can get the taste of it first hand! Oh happy days 🙂

  1. An ‘interesting’ poll being run by The Daily Blog i think its light one category at least,

An all of the above i feel should have been included in the poll,

Befor this National Government sat on its hands and watched house price inflation go through the roof the previous Labour Government did exactly the same thing,

Befor a rush of Asian buyers, whether Kiwi Asian or those speculating from off-shore it was Ma and Pa, Mister and Missus Middle-class New Zealand who having been enriched by successive rounds of tax cutting by both of the political party’s above and having been burned by the share-market crash were offered Tax Rules, Financial instruments from Banks, and, seminars run all over New Zealand by lawyers, real estate agents and tax accountants at 3 grand a pop which educated them in how to speculate in property using such speculation as a tax write-off with free capital gains as the icing on the cake,

Now there is the children of Mister and Missus Middle-class New Zealand who having learned the art of legalized tax evasion from their parents who are off out into the provinces, Northland, Hamilton, Tauraunga, to put their education into practice,

In among all this is of course an unhealthy number of foreign speculators along with Asian New Zealanders, some genuine home buyers, some speculators,

It is neither the race nor ethnicity of the purchasers of housing that is the driver of much of the house price inflation it is the Speculation…

  2. So typical of National, they claim credit for what they tell us is a new government initiative for recycling plastic bags. What they don’t tell us is that plastic bags were recyclable years before National ever got their dirty mits on the government benches, but that branch of recycling practically died due to their indifference and lack of environmental policies. Now, of course, they suddenly decide it is worth doing and we are supposed to pat them on the back and say “hurrah, hurrah, National is doing something for the environment. If restoring something to what it had been before you stuck your big nose in is worth congratulating, then I suppose I should do so, but how many million plastic bags have been dumped into the environment that could have been recycled if you had pulled finger in the first place, Nick Smith?
