I do so enjoy this stage of Evans evolution/development as a cartoonist. He deserves the Murray Ball mantle of piercing and accurate observation( going back to Ball’s days in apartheid Sth Africa)
My mum ( who would be 88 if she was alive still) was a huge fan of his Edna cartoons. back in the 70’s and early 80’s. A half decent artist I reckon ( so many aren’t these days) And a bloody accurate commentator.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Pity it wasn’t in the Herald, as it should have been if we lived in a real democracy.
The people who don’t want us to understand what’s going on in the Middle East win again, and never will there be any real peace in the world, while they are allowed to control the News, and the Politicians.
Until the news media dares mention the role the Jewish and Israeli lobby plays in this manipulation and control of our Politicians and news media.
Just blaming the Industrial Military complex will always be a bit of a cop out.
A good example of how we are so badly informed by professional Journalism.
