Key: “It could’ve been a man’s hair” – Maybe it already has been!

Key’s latest excuse for #Tailgate is that his conduct wasn’t sexist because he could have carried out the same long-running campaign of workplace harassment against a male worker just as easily.

Now while it’s rather telling that the PM’s best stab at an equivocation is to suggest he’s got little problem abusing *other* workers rather than just the one … there was one thing that really struck me about his statement.

When he said it could’ve been a man’s hair, I found myself wondering if maybe this had already happened:

Remember when National’s Napier candidate cut off his pony-tail during the last election campaign?

At the time, he claimed this was because it was a “barrier to communication”.

One wonders whether he meant a barrier to communication with the electorate, or with his own leader…

Oh and on a more serious note – Key’s statement is exactly how the police in other countries justify things like structural racism. “Oh, it *could* have been an unarmed white teenager our officers just blew away…”

Just because it “technically would have been possible” for Key to do the same thing to a male hospitality worker, TOTALLY doesn’t mitigate the sexist nature of his offence – or cast aside the overtones we’ve all attached to it.

I mean, come on. It does occur that Pita Sharples probably never had to put up with this sort of thing!

  1. John Key.

John Key is this, in this humble writers opinion.

John Key is at least $50,000,000.00 but in reality? Who could ever really know.

John Key’s deep within NZ’s Deep State and by that I mean he’s in with the clubbers Club . The Crooks Club of the Order of Ancient Swindlers.

And those of the Order of Ancient Swindlers have become hugely rich off the backs of you and I .

Is it apparent to you , dear reader, as to what’s really going on here?

John Key’s in character for his role as the appointed red herring and deflector of attention. Mr Hand Shake. Mr Nice Guy at the Barbi . The fact that he earned the title ” The Smiling Assassin ” as former investment banker at Merrill Lynch in London should not be forgotten or under estimated as an accurate description of a man lured by his own fallibility’s into allowing what might masquerade as ‘ feelings ‘ from a man without ‘normal’ emotions to be expressed in what society might consider ‘ in a normal way ‘ .

In short . He can’t because he doesn’t have ’em and this debacle is the best he can do with what little he has in his emotional tool kit.
The problem for Key is that most of us take a dim view of his hair-fetish advances because of the alarming lack of empathy for the focus of his attentions .

In short, yet again; his lack of emotional complexity is exactly why he’s been able to gather about him not only quislings and minions but millions of dollars of others and I suspect, much more than that on many other levels .

One has to ask, based upon the above assumptions and suspicions , is he mentally fit to be our Prime Minister and did he legally obtain his wealth ?

Finally and sinisterly , what has he stitched us up into by way of deals for his mates, and those to whom he owes favours ?

I’ve written this before and I’ll go on record here as a commenter on the Great The Daily Blog. We New Zealanders should drop everything we’re doing right now and demand a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the relationships between our past , and present , politicians and Big Business . That should be our focus .

We have an emotionally dysfunctional and filthy rich investment banker toying with people as if he were a cat with mice and bizarrely he’s really not to blame as such . We should remember that this kind of dysfunction will almost certainly come from a trauma in his life . Having said that, we should be very, very concerned for what he might be planning for us next .

    • @ COUNTRYBOY –

Fairly accurate analysis of the ominous toxic traitor FJK! Thank you for your excellent summation CB.

    • Curwin & countryboy,

Excellent précis of a Man we know as “Prime Minister”.

Country boy is right, we have a “Prime Minister” who has fashioned NZ as a playground for the idle rich and yes Key is very deep into the Global elite clubs around the world.

He is an arrogant man by nature, probably due to his past, and then in the highly aggressive ruthless financial currency trading business.

In the past this man was first showing this aggressive ruthlessness when during the Political kindling process of 2007-08 when running his leadership campaign against Helen Clark when she was still Prime Minister.

His verbal attacks on policy & Helen Clark were a shocking display of arrogance that in today’s new hurt/hate laws would have bordered on defamation or intent to harm/injure.

Then we witnessed this PM using a very ruthless Blogger and a black ops system alleged to undermine a Labour leaders at election time that equals the famous Watergate scandal that the MSM at the time brought President Nixon in 1974-5 to justice, but this man our dear leader has deliberately squashed any threat against him we fear.

So a Royal Commission is appropriate if our PM is found to be involved in secretive, Bilderberg/Illluminati type covert planning meetings abroad, to kindle events for his own benefit and destabilise our country’s democracy and undermining all opposition parties to his policies as reported when he attended The Bilderberg 2011-12 secret meetings.

These are appropriate issues to focus on, and only such a Royal commission has the scope and depth of reach into these issues and to evaluate as to whether it is appropriate to have these rich and highly greed motivated persons if found by their activities to be “seen as a conflict of interest” as we found Judith Collins was acting in her capacity as a Sworn Cabinet minister and was sacked by the PM for this already.

      • John Key (2011-2012), Prime Minister of New Zealand

      http://twochurchesonly.com/supmat/03/most_influential/bilderberg_group/list_of_bilderberg_attendees.pdf

      • Good points @CG. I’ve never heard anyone question JK about Bilderberg Group. I wonder which particular hat would he claim he was wearing at the time – private individual or PM or lackey of the Federal Reserve/banksters.

I fear though that your average kiwi would be too easily brushed off with the “left-wing conspiracy theory” mantra that Key used to nullify Nicky Hager’s book Dirty Politics.

      • Sean – this shows absolutely no understanding of the power imbalance at play in this scenario. Key is the PM for goodness sake – there could not be a bigger power imbalance. And again, no understanding of how our society is structured to support male privilege

  2. Agree Countryboy.
The PM should understand this latest mess he’s in is really is the tip of the iceburg.
    Other messes include.
TPP and TIRSA, making us accept a trade deal that we know nothing about and is said to be detrimental to NZ and extremely favourable to corporporations ,Hes all for that
    .
Sending our troops into an American instigated war not for defence, but for America to control and loot.
Putting our troops in danger to help our sovereignty stealers and PMs Puppet Masters.

Selling our assets to benefit his cronies and business friends both in NZ and overseas.

Ignoring the people of NZ in protests and referendums.he “dismisses” them with a wave as of no account.

The pm gathers and controls much of the positions in NZ life to suit his own agendas.

PM blames the left for everything he should take responsibility for himself .Dirty Politics was of his making,as was all the lies ,memory fades and, manipulations. PM blamed dirty politics on a left wing smear .

Im sure others can add to the list of these “stella” achievments.

The harassment of a waitress and attacks on her person is a step too far ,he calls it horsing around ,sure it is ,just like any smart thug in cafes around NZ who think they can interfere with staff without penalty.
Not this time . we expect dignity and respect from a PM not clownish behaviour

    • True all that Elle.

Did you all see our fearless Martyn Bradbury on one news interview by Alison Pugh between 7-8am today 5th May 2015?

Martyn was good and rammed the issue home saying the waitress was repeatedly harassed with hair pulling by PM Key month after month after month against her wishes and constant complaints, and Alison also really sided (slightly as she could be allowed) in tightly regulated environment she is in there.

  3. What really annoys me is that National supporters are so enamoured with their leader that they’re willing to over-look something that is a possible crime: physical assault.

I thought righties were tough on law & order issues? Seems not.

    • @Priss – your comment is timely as I’d been musing about what behaviour/s would actually offend Key’s sycophants. Kim Dotcom already posited that Key could bite the heads off kittens on live TV and blame the kittens – with little/no repercussions from the public.

      Where is the line?

  4. Here’s where this sort of garbage response from Key falls down. When I worked in security – and I have a long ponytail by the way – there is no way in this lil old earth I would have stood for any of that.

And a lot of my colleagues, being male also…had long pontytails. Big burly guys who would ‘kinda take a dim view of having their hair pulled’ and their head touched for cultural reasons. It aint funny to those lads , I can assure you.

Key would only do it once if he dared…he wouldn’t get a second chance.

So if that’s the case…the specious argument it ‘ might even be a guys hair I pulled’…..don’t hold water.

I strongly doubt that , Mr Key… firstly there could be rather unpleasant consequences for you if you did – secondly…like a coward…its far easier to pick on a woman isn’t it , Mr Key.

And you knew full what you were doing …you damn well knew it had gone way past ‘horseplay ‘ and just ‘ kidding around’.

Man up , Key….you screwed up big time this round. And now you’ve got the men sticking up for this young woman. As sure as eggs , buddy …you wouldn’t dare do that to a man in a pub full of his mates you coward.

So stop trying to weasel out of what you did and man up.

  5. Great point to mention Pita Sharples ponytail as a way to show up how manipulative #TeamKey are being in their attempts to make Key not be viewed as a sexist, bullying, rich white male. And an official inquiry into the dirty political networks to subvert NZ’s shelled-out democracy is sorely needed, as CountryBoy commenter says.

The propaganda processes at work in the latest Sunday Star Times editorial (designed to buffer John Key from criticism over the ponytail pulling harassment and reset the news agenda) are explored in an article:

“Prime Minister is Best ‘dadD’: New Zealand Newspaper Declares John Key ‘Our Father of the Year’ as 2015 Turns 5 Months-old” at: http://snoopman.net.nz/?p=2801

  6. If you look at all the other photos around of John “Sociopath” Key touching little girls hair, you will notice that they all had Mothers/females with them and NO daddies/men. That I also think says a lot as to who JK targets and who is standing guard with that child at the time !!!
I don’t know many MEN that would stand by and let some creepy old man stranger touch their child in such a familiar manner and NOT throw a whack or a punch at the offender….YES OFFENDER !!!

I wish people would wake up to that fact and stop victim blaming.

  7. Watching Key in Parliament today I’d say he is under some pressure now, judging by his slurred speech, which was much more indistinct than usual! Gave me the impression he was under the influence of some substance or other. To help cope with stress maybe?

His deceitful, lying and obnoxious behaviour finally catching up with him perhaps, he has to indulge himself in liquid lunches to get him through Q&A sessions?

  8. All female (and perhaps also male) media staff in and around the Press Gallery should let their hair grow long and tie it into pony tails for the rest of the time Key is in power, and constantly “tease” him with their tails, by waving them around repeatedly and endlessly, when interviewing him.

Doing that, and saying NO words mentioning hair, that would drive the PM close to insanity, I can imagine, as he would struggle 24/7, even have nightmares, while having to restrain himself from his trichophilia.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair_fetishism

He may go real “mad” in the end, and may have to be committed for treatment, as the end result. We would finally be rid of him!

  9. I could be wrong, but didn’t he say that he could have pulled on a man’s ponytail, but that would have been “creepy”?
Ah, spot the issue, Mr PM?

  10. So even males are not safe from John Key’s born to rule sense of entitlement!

    Why am I not surprised.

  11. I dont believe that a Royal Commission of Enquiry has any prospect of getting off the ground and could actually be detrimental to the Left (look at how many times John Key has been able to shrug such allegations off and emerge as strong as ever).
It may be necessary to wait and see what is the outcome of Graham McCready’s legal action against John Key. That might shift some entrenched opinions. In the mean time TDB should concentrate its energy in trying to get the Mark Sabin case into a court room. This issue still presents our best chance of getting John Key out. I believe that if the full story ever emerges in court that will be the end of the present government. The sheer desperation of the Nationals in trying to suppress all the facts shows how serious the charges must be.

    • Yes, Sabin the loyal servant of rich Mainland Chinese investors now:

      http://www.nbr.co.nz/article/sabin-linked-luxury-resort-goes-ground-over-new-ceo-jb-171490

Look at the face of the man, on the photo next to the NBR article, he looks like another dubious “salesman”, one like a used car salesman with a sinister side, and bad reputation.

New Zealand is for sale, that is going on, and those that would not believe it, continue to delude themselves.

The likes of Shipley, Judith Collins, Sabin, Key and so forth, they are all made of the same mercenary mindset, and cannot be trusted.

Someone should do some thorough research into the Sabin case.

  12. I can’t wait for the following headlines:

Graham Capill: “It could have been a consenting adult instead of a kid.”
David Garrett: “I could have stolen a live baby’s identity.”
Gerry Brownlee: “I could have assaulted an elderly lady instead of an elderly man… No, wait a second…”
