John Key has defended his use of women he doesn’t know as touchable play things because he’s the most casual Prime Minister in NZ History.

That’s right. He can invade your personal space at work and touch you because he’s casual.

Here are 10 other things John Key is casual about.

10. Re-invading Iraq.

9. Signing away our economic sovereignty with the TPPA.

8. Stealing water rights for corporate farming interests.

7. Strangling off Campbell Live and public broadcasting.

6. His relationship with Cameron Slater.

5. Mass surveillance legislation.

4. Civil Rights.

3. Child Poverty.

2. sexual harassment, work place bullying and common assault

and the number 1 thing John Key is casual about…

  1. With a bit of luck folks, things are finally catching up with Key, and Karma is lurking very close by, having a good old sniff around, sensing for the right time to strike. May it be soon, may it be swift, and may it be strong enough to remove Key from politics altogether.

  2. However Key spins this; however much National Party sycophants and fellow-travellers try to deflect attention away; and irrespective of anything else – there is one thing for certain.

From now on, the public, media, and bloggers will be watching Key very, very keenly.

For the next two and a half years, he will have to be on his best behaviour. Because if he doesn’t, all it will take is for another complaint to be made public. And with umpteen million smartphones, cellphones, and other video gadgets now in society – you can bet that this time his next faux pas will be recorded for posterity.

This is no longer the Teflon Prime Minister.

    No more wiggle room.

  3. I don’t know what’s less convincing, the “I’m sorry and I have lessons to learn”, blah de blah, blah or the Curia focus group catch phrase of “I’m the most casual Prime Minister New Zealand’s ever had”.

I am inclined to go with the casual PM bit because the more this guy goes on the more I think being PM is not what he is in this for, its more of a perfect vehicle to use. So being casual when play acting is par for the course.

So in that vein rather than the utter lies we get about why Auckland’s housing market is so over priced and how National is doing all it can to rectify this crisis, this week we learn that our houses are being sold to the highest bidder, and that includes a healthy component of overseas based investors, all tax free. Nice one John!

Then today Rod Orams viewpoint piece in the Sunday Star Times sums up the “Political Deficit” NZ has accompanying the growing “physical” trade deficit.

In short he has found that despite government claims that we are achieving the governments goals of lifting exports from 30% of GDP to 40% by 2025 it turns out we are not, NZ is going backwards projected to be 28.2%, down from the 2014’s 29.7%. And worse high value exports have fallen from 17.4% in 2010 to only 13.5% in 2014.

This cold reality called into play a sneaky little revision in the way statistics were measured and by stripping out the price increases it shows only volume but not their “true and current economic value” which in turn created flattering results for the government.

So how National achieve results is by trickery, a facade and rarely if ever do we the people of New Zealand ever get to know this.

They are where they are in the polls because, apparently, they know what they are doing with the economy. They don’t, it’s a lie!

So carry on being Mr Casual John Key, but not for too much longer I hope, because what we badly need is a PM who is in the job for New Zealand’s benefit!

  4. I have posted many times about the above 10 point list. All of which are serious issues of themselves…..let alone all 10.

But because we had Stephen Joyce as the P R /propaganda man with his direct links to media bosses having been in a very central position himself before he entered politics ….

We have received a steady diet of misinformation , and perversion of the truth. A classic ’embedding of our men and women in positions of power and influence ‘ .

We really should be shocked and appalled at some of these things…but it is evidence of just how effective Joyce has been.

This is a dishonest govt. And it is a very dangerous one.

And it is patently obvious that the mass media in the country has received orders to saturate the news surrounding Galipoli , thereby in an attempt to deflect , minimize and sideline the fact that an offense has taken place .

That offense being one of common assault.

Weighted against this collusion between govt and mass media….is the simple and irrefutable evidence and occurrence of common assault by the PM.

It cannot be argued against , apologized for , deflected or detracted that what has happened is , in fact , common assault.

Over a long and protracted period.

No amount of leading arguments or deflection has any legal standing in this incident. An offense has taken place. And it does not matter if it was an historic offense or a more recent one .

Quite plainly , over a 7 months period the offender assaulted an individual in her workplace. There were witnesses , there was displeasure at the offense , there were appropriate warnings given to the offender , the employee registered a complaint to her employers about the behavior of a particular client , – and finally …a verbal warning given by the victim to the offender to desist.

There are certainly grounds for a complaint to be made of assault.

A victim impact report can include feelings of dis-empowerment , to the effect it created enough humiliation and emotional harm to engender tears of frustration in the victim induced by the offender.

The law is not selective. To not observe it is to minimize it.

And often the law provides for these cases precisely because it involves one individual who has all the advantages stacked on their side – be it wealth , social status , physical prowess or political standing against an individual who does not hold these advantages.

For this matter to be blithely dismissed , minimized or deflected will be tantamount to a contempt of those laws.

    • John Key has had contempt for our laws for ages.
The Glucina, Hoskins and herald journalists are making every attempt to make us believe Key is going to survive the scandal of his own making,he must not and we must know that he wont.
They believe if they say it we will accept it and go away.
We should be backing Mcready, he has the guts to take action,we should get behind him, dont let National appologists convince you he is a ‘Serial litigator” and shouldn’t be take seriously.

National is a serial bullying outfit, and we must take them seriously.
National party via Key and Joyce always try to ridicule the opposition, and by this its meant the opposition to its evil behaviour ,not just the Left as they often portray people who disagree with them.
We don’t need to be portrayed as any direction ,just apposed to them, the would be control freaks.
Any petition organised is ignored as if the people are of no account,
as the Campbell live petition is ignored by the arrogant Weldon and co.
We are of account enmasse,we don’t need to accept we have Key and his bunch of smug lying people for another two years.
Key attempts to convince us he has the support of the majority ,he dosnt, its just words with no substance. We have the best chance we have ever had to remove him ,lets not waste it.

People have it in their heads that Key will have the judges in his pocket,if there is a case against him,he dosnt and its up to us to ensure justice is done.
Our own taxpayer dollars are used by National to do keep them in power.
We must know we can defeat this awful government, the worst we have ever had.
Keep up the pressure on stopping the TPP , don’t be sidetracked by false flag items, don’t be afraid to stand up and be counted ,fear is their weapon ,solidarity and diligence is ours.
      .

  5. Brilliant cartoon on Wakeup Kiwi today. Elisabeth Warren is fighting the TPP but Obama is trying to fast track it.

  6. One lot of obstacles have been surmounted ,Obama has the first lot of votes to fast track ,another vote on Thursday, must have cost the corporations lot of money to buy votes.John Key is not our PM he is a our enemy, hes ignoring us and doing what Obama wants,
Have we not got lawyers to indite him for treachery.
