1. Meridian shares return 125% since purchase 18 months ago.

   Someone should be facing charges over incompetence for selling our public assets so cheaply.

   Mark Lister gives the facts and then twists it around to blame Labour and Green for the low selling price.

   I think lining up the real culprits for the firing squad against one of the dam walls would have a nice sense of irony.

2. What,s the latest re Mike Sabin & JK,s mate who he put in charge of spying on Kiwi,s, Fletcher ?.
   I.e the next date for a report, court hearing etc etc.
   One of these two events, in a true Democracy, which I fear NZ is NOT, would bring down JK, were the full facts ever come out.

     Fletcher seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth completely! I’m picking with what he knows, he could send Key scuttling to Hawai’i quick smart!

     As for your questions, could be the reason Campbell Live is being considered for the chop! Plenty coming up and John Campbell always asks the relevant questions, not to Key and Joyce’s liking.

     I find the website Lauda Finem is a good source of information about what’s happening in NZ.

3. Congratulations to; Mike Treen, and others at Unite, who have negotiated this:

   Restaurant Brands which owns the KFC, Pizza Hut, Carl’s Jr and Starbucks chains has committed to end zero hour contracts by July this year in a new collective agreement negotiated with Unite Union.

   I have been avoiding all fast foods for the past while (except the corner chip shop that is family run and owned), but the wife does enjoy the occasional quarter-pack. I’ll have to grab some KFC when passing sometime this week to reinforce good employer behaviour.

   There is no sign yet of the; “letter that will be forwarded to the three holdouts” (“…McDonald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s”), on the Unite site. Hopefully the TDB will have a link to it when it goes live.
