Judith Collins extraordinary attack on Nicky Hager & Kim Dotcom last night in parliament highlights just how vile and in total denial National are over the entire Dirty Politics fiasco.
Let’s remind ourselves of those allegations…
…those are the issues that still need investigating, yet here we have Judith Collins simply slagging Nicky Hager and Kim Dotcom off. Judith is still running the line that Hager is somehow a thief and a crook for publishing stolen emails from Cameron Slater when the law is very clear that information, even if stolen, can be published IF IT IS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST! And clearly what Hager managed to publish was very much in the public interest.
We are yet to see all the allegations in Dirty Politics investigated. High ranking National Party MPs using Parliament to slag off investigative journalists and people wrongfully spied upon is just another example of how far we have allowed National party abuses of power to become the norm.

Do we laugh at her?…no…she’s a nutbag and shall be pitied. Also….she is a particularly viscous nutbag …..so cannot be lightly glossed over with…

Based on what? Why isn’t any Opposition politician agreeing with you? Perhaps they could also be charged as being complicit with an act of treason.
Have you asked any of them privately gossy? I would be surprised if they would even hive you the time of day, but if you did, you might be disappointed at how many of them consider Numnums to be a traitor to his country…
As you well know, having this opinion, and being free to express it are problematical, considering that the “fourth estate” in NZ would launch wave after wave of attacks on behalf of the party that is controlled by corporate interests, as that is why they exist now, to ensure the propaganda that Numnums is coached to spread is entrenched in the mainstream conciousness… Knowing you from the various comments you inflict on blogs around the net, I’m not surprised you prefer to avoid acknowledging the many different aspects of why it is a self defeating exercise to state this fact out loud… Once the proof is irrefutable, then, of course, we have a different paradigm altogether… I suspect that if Numnums fails in his appointed task on behalf of his American bosses, he will be cut loose from the blanket protection he enjoys now, and the task of removing his stain from our lives can then commence without delay…
Unfortunately you are correct as economic crimes such as flogging off public assets and NZ’s sovereignty are not reasonable offences.

Explain to me why being intrinsically connected to a chinese businessman that has used her connections within the NZ government to further his own interests, at the expense of local operators is racist Gossy? Are you saying that it’s racist to point to the corrupt practices being fostered between tory mp’s and the chinese corporate leadership? Or are you a racist for attempting to stifle comment regarding those who have signalled clear willingness to dominate NZ’s economy?? It constantly amazes me how people like Collins thinks something like a leaked email or secretly recorded phone conversation somehow trumps their wrongful actions for which they have been caught out.

Much like the rest of Key’s henchmen, Judith Collins wouldn’t know the truth if it set fire to her head. My only consolation is that this sort of vile, but blatantly transparent character assassination, done under parliamentary privilege of course, will only motivate Nicky Hager to stick the knife in further. More power to him.

And haven’t they done it well. John Key’s “good guy” image. It’s clear he makes all the right noises that the people want to hear whilst in the background his party do the opposite.
It reminds me of the police, while investigating the Roastbusters, they made all the right sympathetic noises to the victims and the public, all the while, they did not do a thorough job of investigating. Perhaps this a default setting when it involves one of their own, (one of the Roastbusters was the son of a copper). Also as in the Louise Nicholas case – the investigating cop was so sympathetic to her, but made sure the case was thrown out of court.
My goodness the woman has completely lost it. Is she safe to have in parliament. She should be removed under mental health reasons. Didn’t she say before she resigned that she was having a break-down and not well that is why she was off parliament when the china or basically the orvida scandal came to light.

Good to see the facts summarized here. Its a pity it doesn’t make MSM. But then only the literate few would bother to read it because it didn’t contain the belligerence of X Fact or Judges.
If Nicky Hager is a thief and crook for gathering information in the way he did, then he looks like a saint in comparison to right-wing dirt-men like Mike Hosking, Sean Plunkett and Cameron Slater. How does she think they gather their “information”? Do you suppose they politely ask the victim if they don’t mind before publication? Collins is basically evil, along with her aforementioned cronies.

Did anyone notice the wildly inaccurate subtitles? They were often hilarious, but anyone relying on them would have a really odd idea of what JC was saying.
