Just a heads up that we’re in the last 24hrs of OpenMedia.org’s crowdsourcing initiative on copyright: https://openmedia.org/crowdsource
A closed Trans-Pacific Partnership is in the process of being finalized and according to leaked texts it could create massive new liabilities for web services providers, block websites and censor content.
To date millions of people have pushed back and we’re now trying to take the next stop by setting out what we think copyright rules for the 21st century should look like.
Let’s model what a real community-driven process looks like. We don’t have to ask for anyone’s permission now — we can just start making our own rules and demand they be enacted.
*Every person that takes part gets their own unique URL and the we’re giving away a unique and incredible pro-Internet prize pack to our top 5 sharers – a pack including everything from cool printed t-shirts, to open source game consoles, a signed copy of Alexis Ohanian’s book, and even a free VPN subscription!

I hope you’ll take this last change to join in: https://openmedia.org/crowdsource
