Assoc Prof Nikki Turner, CPAG health spokesperson will present the paper’s key findings followed by a discussion on how we, as the public can individually and collectively take action to bring about meaningful change for the 285,000 New Zealand children who through no fault of their own, live in poverty.
This public discussion is part of CPAG’s Election 2014 Series: Our Children, Our Choice: Priorities for Policy. Running up to the 2014 Election in September, CPAG will be releasing policy papers on key areas related to child poverty: Health, Housing, Education and Income. We welcome all to join us for public discussions on these vital issues as the papers are released.
