Kiwi political leaders are all staking out their ground for election year. The Prime Minister John Key has indicated who he will be prepared to work with after the election, and what parties he will not invite to help National become the government.

Likewise Labour leader David Cunliffe will this week deliver his state of the nation address. Meanwhile Internet tycoon and accused copyright criminal Kim Dotcom is set to launch his Internet Party.

In other news… The summer of sport has been a good one for NZ’s Cricket and the Black Caps They have just beaten India in the first and second one day international games.

Weather wise, NZ has had a warm but wet Summer with the wash from the western Pacific’s cyclones dominating our weather in the last two weeks.
