Dear news media, as I pointed out last month, regarding Dotcom’s nuke and the latest Snowden revelations, if there is evidence that John Key has lied about when he was told about Kim Dotcom, if there is proof that he has in fact misled the entire country, that’s it eh? Key has to resign as Prime Minister right?
No ifs, no maybes, no buts right? I’m not going to have to put up with Herald Editorials, Duncan Garner or Mike Hosking desperately spinning that because Key lied in the ‘National interest’ then that doesn’t count right?
I’m not gonna have to hear that kind of crap right?
If Key is proven to have been informed and Snowden can provide the evidence, it’s goodbye John and a snap election right?
Cause I just want us all to be on the same page as this.

Unfortunately the Key gang’s “higher standards” have not actually applied to them so far. It will be interesting to watch regardless the gymnastics and huge ky bill as they try and slide out of this one.

Too many kiwis are pussycats when it comes to holding lying politicians to account. Kiwis are happy to get all road ragey and agro if you inadvertently take their car park at the mall but not so hot on uniting to stick it to the ‘man’. Snowden can pressumably do nothing without his hosts permission.
Thus if he did have said info, then surely Putin would use that leverage against Key to get ‘something’ rather than ‘out him’?????
I’m wondering just what it WOULD take for 40 percent of New Zealanders to stop voting for him. At this stage it seems nothing.
