  1. I remember a sticker, many years ago, on the cash register at Bar Bodega on Willis street in Wellington.

    It was designed to resemble the “new” (at the time) Police car markings and said:

    “Don’t steal, the Business Round Table hates competition!”

    Your photo above of Don-Key with the text about the “Police State” – reminded me. Nothing seems to have changed?

  2. I was surprised to hear talk of Snowden applying for asylum in New Zealand. My heart sank to think that he and his supporters might still imagine New Zealand was a progressively governed country.
    I’m not sure how true this was, but it does indicate that the word still hasn’t got out to the rest of the world that New Zealand has a far right government.
