Republicans in Ohio saw the forced ultrasound bill in Wisconsin, and decided that was a good idea. But they didn’t think it went far enough. So they one-upped Wisconsin by introducing the full laundry-list of radical assaults on choice: they don’t just force women to get invasive ultrasounds, they slap them with the unnecessary costs. They don’t just force doctors to describe the fetal heartbeat, they force them to tell women scientifically disputed information about abortion risks. And if doctors don’t do it? They get fined up to $1 million dollars and charged with a felony.
