The Liberal Agenda: May 13th- 19th

On Wednesday it’s the second forum in JustSpeak’s Unlocking Prisons series. This one, Within the Walls explores life on the inside from people who’ve been there. It will address questions about it’s impact of decisions to reoffend, and what the experience was like. If you’re interested in the Justice System, then you should definitely get to this. 6.30pm at Alleluya Cafe, K Rd.

The Writers and Readers Festival is this coming weekend in Auckland. It’s worth spening some time with the programme. Poetry Idol on Saturday is a great way of checking out fresh talent.

The Comedy Festival is also still happening. If you’re in Wellington get along to Jeremy Elwood and Michele A’Court and if you’re in Auckland don’t miss Stand Up for Kids and Titty Bar Ha Ha.
