After the lies that Nick Smith spun us for a decade over housing in Auckland, anything National has to say on this issue are bared faced falsehoods.
That’s our Housing Minister standing in front of the Property Institute logo which sums up the past decade of National’s Housing policies.
National is a Government of the property speculators, by property the speculators and for the property speculators.
These cretinous arseholes have denied the Housing Crisis and are now offering a pathetic 34 000 homes by 2030 as a solution.
That’s not a solution, that kind of unambitious time frame and flaccid target is part of the problem.
Remember, according to National, four out of five renters in NZ not able to buy a house isn’t a crisis
Labour are offering three times the number of houses on top of a 1000 state houses each year on top of thousands of more emergency housing beds for the homeless.
National are offering Labour lite and pretending to ignore their own denial for the past decade.
It is up to New Zealand to decide if this joke will be swallowed in September’s election.
Oh yes, … the election year panic begins, in this case with a piss weak supplication of the masses via an even more piss weak housing policy to induce people to vote for National because they are ‘ doing something’ about housing …
Never mind for the last few years they have denied multiple reports from dozens of social agencies and banks that we have a housing / affordability crisis… but suddenly now they just wanted to start building houses just because they ‘ felt ‘ like it…

And yet TEN YEARS AFTER , we now have more people homeless, family’s living out of cars and garages , and three family’s living in a house designed for one family now being commonplace than ever before.
In other words, – National have done NOTHING but deny there even is a housing crisis. A complete about turn on the ticket John Key ran a big part of his election campaign on.
And while all that was going on , – They ran an irresponsible and reckless immigration policy to pander to such groups as bogus private education providers and to create a boon for property speculators , both foreign and domestic , – with many of the domestic speculators they knew full well would be National voters or could be bribed to vote National . And with the added side bonus of importing cheap labour and further driving down wages.
ANYTHING that this National party does or says must always be scrutinized from the viewpoint of almost inevitable duplicity and double meaning. Nothing they ever do is ever straightforward or done without ulterior motive. They have proven that time and time again.

The reporter went on to say that this was another Labour policy(Kiwibuild) stolen from Labour, only a watered down version.

We are astounded at the bloody corruption of this criminal gang in National as they are the landlords now and skimming of the profit of their evil deeds.
This Government does not “plan” to build 34000 new homes over 10 years – they will however immediately demolish 8000 existing homes.
Then if they succeed in bullshitting the Voters and get to continue their destructive methods after the election, then they will dither and procrastinate towards their “target” of 34000 replacements.
They will pursue their “target” like a non-achievable mirage until they finally dispense with their “target” or redefine their “target” – much like their crime re offending target.
Same modus operandi as they will use for their other “targets” such as “swimmable rivers” or “pest free”.
Well, more of the same, I would have been surprised if the Nats would not have tried to pull something like this off, Kiwi Build Light, what a joke.
That is why I always say, Labour MUST BE BOLDER, and not dilly dally around so much, present clear, firm and determined policies, in a number of areas, show you are a real alternative, not a “Light” version of Nats.

The Nats will use new laws so that central government can interfere into territorial authorities’ affairs, under the pretense they will “consult”, also with stake holders and ‘the public’, on projects that should be built swiftly within urban areas, or close to urban areas.
This may be the vehicle they want to use to build these extra homes, also giving UDAs the power to force sales of private land.
National want to demolish another 8300, meaning it’s build is only 25,700, that this government has no intention of doing. The National government is treating New Zealand like a pack of fools. 9 years of broken promises, no action but to fuel the bubble of a faked economy, it’s election year, vote the bastards out.

I might have recounted this story. Please forgive me if so, and I know, unlike the dirty little Right Wingers out there, forgiveness comes easily to the mind untrammelled by lies, deceit, meanness and the gleeful awfulness of watching someone wither from hurt as the barbed, two dimensional, Right Wing tongue flails about in search of sensitive flesh.
I watched a French film once where a young man was bullied on his way to school by an older, seemingly tougher kid. The tough kid really did enjoy his tormenting of the innocent and was merciless and on-going.
As time went by, the bully disappeared suddenly ( Prison ) and the younger boy became older and physically larger and took it upon himself to go to the gym and heave on weights until his arms became massive and his legs looked like pillars of tree trunk. He’d walk about his family home wearing weights on his feet while eating a diet of chicken and rice and looking very grim at the thought of exacting his revenge on his school boy nemesis.
Then one day… There he was! The bully. Older, meaner looking and wearing a leather jacket and big black boots. The Young Man went over and towered there, leaning and breathing heavily. The Bully rose up looking nervous and just has if he prepared to back down, the Young Man grabbed the bully and flung him across the footpath as if he were a feather pillow! Then the young man bore down on the bully who was , by now, on his feet and dusting himself off and as lucky would have the Devil on his side, smacked the Young Man in he mouth… All was lost. The Young Man, slapped into shock, became powerless and returned to a snivelling wretch of a creature and shielded himself against the smaller, lessor mans punches and kicks. The Young Man could have easily over powered the bully and won the day but he cowered and cried and took his sentence like a coward.
Sound familiar ? You lazy fucks who’re too tired to go and vote much less make an informed vote and to those who cower in the presence of dirty little Right Wing bullies? Shame on you.
Go up to them! Tell them how you feel! Make them run for their lives! Who cares if you THINK you’ll seem foolish? Who gives a fuck? The important thing is to act. Anything is better than this.
