The Deep State coup against Trump: Flynn’s firing just the beginning

57
7

The Deep State Coup underway against Donald Trump is as terrifying as the coup Trump’s own people are trying to ferment.

It’s like we have the most dangerous game of chicken in the world, on one side a narcissistic sociopath who has cleverly manipulated working class anger to empower a white supremacist crypto-fascist clique and on the other side the Military Industrial Complex and all the deep state dark spiders.

NSAs creepy rapey Valentines tweet…

…the level of mass surveillance computers have given these surveillance agencies is God like.

All.

That.

TDB Recommends NewzEngine.com

Power.

And we are seeing that power play out right now.

Flynn’s telephone conversation was recorded, only the NSA and the Military Industrial Complex has that level of   surveillance power, they are the ones leaking this.

Flynn’s crime? To discuss National Security with the Russians. There is only one President at any time and it’s illegal for private citizens to discuss diplomacy. Flynn ‘lied’ to Pence about not talking to the Russians about unfolding events, but I suspect everyone knew what was being said and that Flynn was a messenger who was operating under a tell no one and deny everything protocols.

Watching the Military Industrial Complex attempting to dethrone their own President by leaking deep surveillance material is no win for the ‘Resistance’ – the dark spiders of the deep state want Trump to know who really runs the Nation – them.

They want their war in Syria with push back against Russia, Trump wants a war with Iran and China. The Military Industrial Complex wars are strategic and corporate focused, Trump’s wars are cultural and economic driven.

There are no heroes here, this is a vicious power struggle being played out in public. There isn’t a side to cheer for because both sides are villainous.

It’s Iago wrestling Shylock.

Dr Doom battling Dr Octopus.

The Joker fighting the Penguin.

Colonel Kurtz vs Pol Pot.

One side will get killed off and the other side will be the more horrific than we can imagine for it.

There are no winners here. Just monsters.

    • err how many countries has Russian bases? How many wars has Putin been involved in? (Don’t count Ukraine because Russia is not involved in Ukraine).

Why do you think that? ie what evidence have you got for saying that?

        • The eastern pert of Ukraine is Russian-speaking, and after an edict from Kiev banned the use of Russian, the people attempted to break free from the fascists installed in Kiev by the Americans.

Despite numerous provocations and actual shelling of eastern Ukrainians by government forces which have cause untold deaths of innocent people, Russia has kept well out of it, only providing humanitarian assistance (remember the convoy that the west attempted to block?) and a refuge for Ukrainians wishing to escape the fascist in Kiev. At one stage 18,000 were fleeing eastwards every week; I’m not sure of the current number.

Putin is happy to sit back and do nothing (other than allow those sympathetic to the eastern Ukrainian cause to provide assistance to those fighting against the Kiev fascists).

Needless to say, it suits the fascists who control the western world to vilify Russia, and vilify Putin in particular, and keep the lid on the truth as much as possible.

        • Frank MACKERSEY, Russia is not involved in Ukraine!!! They have Crimea back because the people voted to go back to Russia. You need to find out about what really happened in Ukraine just prior to and after the democratic election of Yanokovich. Russia hasn’t invaded Ukraine either. So Russia is not involved in Ukraine, doesn’t want to be involved especially now Ukraine is a basket case. Oh dear. Reading #fakenews mainstream media does not provide you with the facts – especially where Russia is concerned.

            • Russia has been active in Ukraine through sanctions and other means. But Ukrain hasnt been a sweet little boy either, they still owe russia billions for gas and other things.

                • It won’t be the Russians who do for Pornoshenko – it’ll be the Ukie far right. Scott Humour’s theory (which makes sense to me) is that Porkie is teasing this new offensive around the contact line because it’s win/win. Either it prods Trump into supporting Ukraine against Russia, and he gets to stay in power, or it doesn’t prod Trump into supporting Ukraine, but in the meantime the Azov battalion and their allies get decimated in a poorly resourced offensive, and his domestic problem is solved.

                  • +1 that in my opinion is a classic distinction between Ukraine and Crimea and throws into doubt Western intevention over breaches of international norms

        • The western sponsored military coup in Ukraine does involve Russian support for the Crimea regions who Voted not to be ruled by fascists …. They also had a couple of hundred thousand refugees cross into russia …… so they could be safe.

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72o9NWiEon4

… these fascists were the muscle, violence and intimidation in the violent overthrow of the Ukraine Govt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-RyOaFwcEw

Johhny made-off ( key ) joined us up to support these fascists …. with economic sanctions being applied by us … on the russian & ukraine people

      • Russia’s been involved in its share of wars. Chechnya, Ingushetia, Georgia and the Ukraine. Syria. It would’ve been in more but for US suppression.

“The eastern part of Ukraine…” Legacy of soviet invasions and military basing.

The pro-Russian ‘separatists’ in the Ukraine are Russian regular forces. Separatists never have tanks or BUKs – they lack the industrial base to produce them and the cash to buy them.

    • why?
I understand he’s been the favourite bogeyman for a good while now, and any leader of any powerful country is not gong to be a saint, but what has he actually done, thats worse than anyone else?
Or are you taking the word of a corrupt press shown to have lied its arse off many many times

      • Putin was pretty much behind the second Chechen war, in which half the population was killed. The origins of the Chechen war are rascist. Incompetent Czarist invasions were succeeded by a soviet ethnic cleansing campaign eventually wound up with perestroika, but a misguided attempt to sabre rattle separatists into compliance humiliated Russian forces in the first Chechen war. Putin’s genocide was pay back.
Putin would have won his first election on the second ballot – but there was widespread and systematic cheating. Putin was behind the murder of Litvinenko on British soil and has since promoted the murderers. Putin is responsible for the murder of the journalist Anna Politkovskaya and numerous others. More recently Putin was behind the murder of opposition candidate and Ukrainan sympathiser Nemtsov. There is a great deal more I could add.

If you are unaware of who and what Putin is you simply haven’t been paying attention. He is a genocidal racist and an enthusiastic user of intelligence forces. It is not safe to be on his borders, he likes to invade. And he has no concern or respect for truth – he will swear black is white or vice versa whenever it suits him. He is also behind a substantial proportion of the fake news you encounter – material like that which seems to have suggested you that he is not the world’s current champion murderous thug.

        • Stuart, Russia is made up of over 185 different ethnic groups https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_groups_in_Russia
Putin enjoys something like 80% popularity in Russia. These facts kind of clash with your characterisation of Putin as racist. There are no doubt many violent and criminal players in Russia but the Chechen war was used by the western intelligence agencies to destabilise Russia in much the same way as the crisis in Ukraine is being used today. US representative Victoria Nuland is on record as saying they had spent $5 billion to generate the outcome they wanted in Ukraine. You blame him for the deaths of Litvinenko and Nemtsov. Why don’t you look at who benefitted from these deaths? It wasn’t Putin. They have been used by the mainstream media (read, Western intelligence agencies)
          http://russia-insider.com/en/media-criticism/german-journalist-who-blew-whistle-cia-media-control-drops-dead-56/ri18544
to demonise Russia and Putin. The same thing happened with MH17. Putin would be a fool to do these things and we can probably agree Putin is not a fool.
Why would he assassinate Nemtsov so near the Kremlin, presenting a great photo-op, when he was a politician with very little support from the Russian people who presented no threat?
This article covers who was responsible and also mentions the unfortunate Anna Politkovskaya.
The Litvinenko affair is something the much vaunted British legal establishment should be deeply ashamed of. http://thesaker.is/the-litvinenko-inquiry-londons-absurd-show-trial/
The real perpetrators are revealed here: http://thesaker.is/bombshell-french-counter-terror-boss-i-have-proof-who-killed-litvinenko-it-wasnt-russia/
As for your comments regarding Putin likes to invade and it is not safe to be on his borders. Open your eyes. Despite what you obviously have taken in from watching the nightly TV1 propaganda, the overwhelming majority of Crimean’s voted to rejoin Russia. That turned out to be a good move as the rest of Ukraine, under American and European care has become a social and economic basketcase. Only last night we were presented with the smug talking head on TV1 “News” implying that a “Russian spy ship” was off the coast of California was a threat and a US ship in the Black Sea was threatened by Russia War planes. The Russian ship was in international waters and what the F…K is the USA/NATO doing with their military forces lined up on Russia’s borders and their warships in the Black Sea.
If it wasn’t for the restraint and diplomatic skills of Putin we would already be in WW3my
Before you malign my sources as fake news. The Saker was born in Russia but spent his life in Europe and the USA. He was formerly a western military intelligence analyst, and as I understand it gave this up after 9/11 when he realised he was working for the criminals not against them. His website depends on donations. Compare this to the mainstream media who for example parrot the rubbish about the Russians hacking the Hillary Clinton campaign emails when Wikileaks the publisher of the emails has denied this.
The whole idea of blaming everything bad associated with Russia on Putin is a bit like blaming the wicked witch in a children’s storybook. It makes a good story but is probably a fairytale.
If you can struggle through this link you may see Putin is not the all powerful dictator presented by the Western Media fairytale writers.
          http://johnhelmer.net/ill-wind-blows-profit-for-igor-zyuzin-and-his-mechel-steel-and-coal-company-in-chelyabinsk-where-there-is-profit-theres-corruption/

        • Ukraine tFascists are far worse than Russians as a quick google ‘images’ search of “ SS Glacianwill bring up photos of mass killings of civilian men women and children ….. in the very worst of ways http://www.fort-russ.com/2016/02/unthinkable-atrocities-of-banderites.html

Chechen war is another example of Cia/usa sponsoring Muslim extremists, …. like in Afghanistan … and Libya …. and with ISIS …. or the Badr death squads/Iraq ‘commando’ police.

The only successful take over of a country by Muslim extremists was achieved by the u.s.a sponsored ones… then known as the mujaheddin … The country and womans rights were destroyed in the process ……… Like Libya although it has killing and war instead of a Govt at the moment .

We could include the Ayatollah of Iran as another hardliner muslim leader….. he was the end result of the brits and yanks overthrowing a democratically elected secular leader …..

The usa got their revenge for the overthrow of their shah …… with over 1 million dead Iranians from the Iran Iraq war ….where the usa helped Iran use poison gas …. sold weapons to both sides ….and the u.s.a also shot down a Iranian civilian airplane …. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ml_Yj8KBM7A/TDh9gIhycmI/AAAAAAAAFE0/meewmlpIaF4/s400/Iran-UsAttack-1988.jpg

Back to Ukraine and the rebirth of fascism…..

Honorific acts and barbaric cruelty were committed by the allied victors at the end of WWII …… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8kh_X-7ojY …..

Approximately 15 million largely innocent people were ethnically cleansed in Europe …. after the war had ended ……… Torture, starvation, mass murder and all other abuses were directed at women, children and families …. in the pretense of retribution …..

While the vast bulk of real Nazis were not punished …… with many being protected or even recruited … http://www.globalresearch.ca/history-how-britain-protected-ukraines-waffen-ss-galitsia-division-in-the-wake-of-world-war-ii/5558113

Nazi collaborators were released from prisons to re-govern Greece with British then u.s.a help ….. with Banderite practices not only supported .but increased via the napalm used against Greek villages …. schools and churches included.

Franco … when the German Nazi Stuka dive bomber planes and piolets helped his bunch of fascists win the Spaish civil war was left in power….. for decades

Banderite practices of violence and terror were taught by u.s.a instructors at ‘the school of americas …. and then put into practice against untold millions of usually poor civilians in dozens of countries around the world ……

These enormous crimes against humanity …. with millions killed….. were committed under rule of u.s.a Presidents and administrations …… who our history would tell us are moderates …… and which is obviously a absurd description when logic is applied..

Kissenger trumps trump …. by millions at this stage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3MJoZn71Tw

I happen to think … based on evidence … that the National party is corrupt ….. but I do not call for a violent overthrow of it of it …., as we have the vote and rule of law.

Yet here we are ….. supporting a Ukraine Govt installed by violence ……. and containing Nationalistic messages of Ukraine purity…. through killing Jews/poles/russians … who they call ‘vermin’

And we are punishing the people who VOTED not to be ruled by u.s.a sponsored racist thugs with murder in their hearts and bloodlines .

‘Sanctions ‘are a collective punishment tool of war ….. and should have been outlawed long ago … due to the starvation and suffering they have caused in the past against the children of Iraq for instance …. Its like something the Nazis would do.

I recommend listening to John Stockwell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmYZ_kWHk3Q …. to understand some of the evil done in our name … think about how has this influenced world relations ,,,, and russian behavior ????? ‘

Killing Hope: ” From as early as 1918, US mass media consistently portrayed communism as evil, irrational, fanatical and anti-American, resulting in an enduring and constantly reinforced view in US public opinion that communism was an evil opposing force.”

“By 1945, this anti-communism had been in place for 25 years, with a brief break from 1942-45. US policy makers were themselves shaped by this ingrained anti-communism, and also used it to justify their attempt to prevent the successful implementation of the policies of any socialist regime. They could also justify any of their foreign policy actions by explaining those actions as anti-communist,” …” US mainstream opinion is in denial about the impact of US interventions since 1945 – a few million deaths and misery for many millions more. He speculates on the causes for this denial, comparing this to other groups denying mass atrocities, such as Germans within Nazi Germany, and Western communist sympathisers’ denials of Stalin’s purges.”

Putin is not Stalin …. and its people like John Key or other corrupt banksters who are the real threat to us … they are attacking and actively destroying our society and planet,

Its the politically legalized corruption, lack of morals and rampant greed in our finance banking and legal proffesions which rewards and lentrenches the corruption in Russia ….. or China ….. or Indonessia ………… or the Philllipenes …… and everywhere else in the world state officials and rich people are stealing from their citizens ……ress

It maintains in power both funnelling and hiding money for dictators …… to pay for weapons and personal needed to wage war …. or opress citizens with large Government ‘security forces’..

Wars …Weapons manufacurer ….. Inequality ….. poverty …. weapons, drugs and people smuggling …. deforestation …… are all enabled or profit from their use of tax haven …… \\

stopping the sea of dirty money washing through them. Would be the single biggest step towards fighting

Cleaning out and purging the criminlity that key quietly legalized into our fincance and tax laws … super quietly with the help of our dirty politicsd pro national media …… chopping out that rot is a realistic step goal and example to the world in how to help the poor ……. while peacefully fightinbg corrupt world leaders and other war profiteers

  1. Here’s what someone who knows how these things work says;
    http://thesaker.is/the-neocons-and-the-deep-state-have…/

He says a colour revolution is taking place in US. Similar to the one in the Ukraine ie a democratically elected president is being ousted with the help of the US neocon, aka deep state, US hegemonic loyalists.

Flyn’s real problem for the NC’s was that he wanted to devolve power from the CIA and Pentagon back to the Whitehouse, he recognised that the US and Russia had common interests.

The issue for the Saker is that Trump accepted his resignation. Trump therefore is done. The swamp cannot be drained as he has no backup. So now we have Graham, McCain, Pence, neocon warmongers and Russophobes along with their ideological neocon swamp buddies in power. Clinton has won after all.
Might pay to read him at least once. He has a different perspective to the mainstream, which appears to be the boat you are paddling, and in my opinion a more honest perspective.

    • The Saker is a must-read. Along with Strategic Culture Foundation.

As for this colour revolution, I think this and Pizzagate justify some serious mass arrests.

No wonder Trump keeps his own private security detail around him at all times despite the ‘protection’ of the secret service detail.

    • Thanks for the link. Very interesting. What I gather from other sources is that Trump can play a long game. It might look like he’s lost – I’m not so sure. Haters gonna hate, especially those informed by the biaised MSM. The only way the neocons are going to be crushed is by playing a hard game, which I believe Trump is capable of doing. Clinton was a puppet – her handlers are still in control for the moment.

  2. It had to end up this way because America was taken over by very dark forces in the nineteenth century, and their stranglehold on America society got tighter and tighter as time has passed, especially since the 1960s, when the revolution that could have changed things for the better was heavily stamped on by ‘the iron heel’.

Eisenhower warned of the unrestrained power of the military-industrial complex in his valedictory speech, but his warning was far too late. The military-industrial complex was already in control, quite a lot of the increase in power occurring under his administration.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y06NSBBRtY

And there was a degree of hypocrisy in the speech, since Eisenhower was very much a military man and supported American adventures abroad, such as the American invasion of Vietnam.

    http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/history_lesson/2011/01/beware_the_militaryindustrial_complex.html

America ‘took a wrong turn’ in the early nineteenth century, and what we are now witnessing is the natural consequence of that and many other ‘wrong turns’.

American notions of strength through military intervention and consumerism will destroy most of the world, if not all of the world, over the coming decade.

  3. Interesting and very good Post!

this also is interesting by Pablo Escobar….and the comments…much will depend on who Trump replaces Flynn with

‘The Neocons and the “deep state” have neutered the Trump Presidency, it’s over folks! (UPDATED 2x)’

    http://thesaker.is/the-neocons-and-the-deep-state-have-neutered-the-trump-presidency-its-over-folks/

…imo Flynn’s so called ‘crimes’ (discussing sanctions with Russian officials)….no way matched Hillary’s plotting against Libya with her self appointed adviser Sydney Blumenthal and his “false information”(Viagra rape fiction against Gaddafi) outside the State apparatus on a private computer

‘Hillary Emails Reveal True Motive for Libya Intervention’

    ww.foreignpolicyjournal.com/2016/01/06/new-hillary-emails-reveal-true-motive-for-libya-intervention/

‘Sid Blumenthal Floated Disputed Gaddafi Viagra Rape Rumor In Confidential Memo To Hillary’

    http://dailycaller.com/2015/12/31/sid-blumenthal-floated-disputed-gaddafi-viagra-rape-rumor-in-confidential-memo-to-hillary/

…it led to a war against a sovereign country and crimes against humanity and war crimes for which Clinton has not been called to account

…where was the neocon supporting mainstream media on this? ( as they gleefully dis Trump)

  4. Perhaps the “deep state” thinks that Trump is so irrational that he has become a threat to the continued functioning of the United States.

This video explains how after North Korea tested a missile while Trump was at dinner with the Japanese Prime Minister at Trump’s resort in Florida, Trump got all his security advisors around the table at the restaurant along with the Japanese PM, top secret briefing papers etc to discuss the issue while other dinners in the restaurant took photos and posted them on Facebook with one dinner even taking a selfie of himself with the man who holds the briefcase with the nuclear code in it.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGA-F-Jv34M

  5. Yep, it all comes down to your largely subjective opinion as to which particular brand of monster you prefer; I hope they take out the Chinese monster dictatorship….

  6. Here’s another view but along the same lines from The Moon of Alabama;

    http://www.moonofalabama.org/2017/02/the-flynn-defenestration-will-hamper-trumps-foreign-policy.html
His question is also why didn’t trump back Flynn?

“But Trump, completely against his style, held his mouth and did nothing. What else happened in the White House that let him refrain from backing Flynn?”

“Flynn is no big loss for the world, the U.S. or the Trump administration. But Trump has now lost the initiative. He long managed to set the media agenda for the day by this or that “outrageous” tweet or remark. Now this advantage has been taken away from him over some nonsense allegations and his lack of backing for one of his top people.”

So another one bits the dust.

    • I think Trump knows the difference between ‘against convention’ and ‘against the rules’. Flynn had to go because it wasn’t a case of against convention, but against the rules. I suspect he will be well compensated for taking the fall, but in doing so it’s probably smoked out a few individuals who Trump knows need to go.

      • you could be right…’The Duran ‘ is interesting on the reasons:

‘First big defeat for Donald Trump as Michael Flynn exits’ by Alexander Mercouris

“The scandal that has ousted General Michael Flynn from the post of National Security Adviser is absurd and concocted. Though there were probably other reasons for his going – including his apparently poor performance in the post of National Security Adviser – his resignation is nonetheless a heavy blow for President Trump.”

        http://theduran.com/first-defeat-donald-trump-michael-flynn-resigns/

…”I have to say however that my own view is that the explanation that Flynn was forced to go because he lied to Pence looks to me like a cover story to hide the true reasons why Flynn had to go.

I suspect these are (1) that Flynn is still the subject of the FBI probe launched by Sally Yates; and (2) that there were increasing doubts about Flynn’s fitness for the role of National Security Adviser…

  7. There are no winners here. Just monsters.

Indeed, Martyn. And it doesn’t take much imagination to figure out what might have happened to Bernie Sanders had he won the Democratic nomination and White House.

In a grim irony-sort-of-way, the American Empire is now getting a dose of it’s own “bad medicine”, with toxic little bottles labelled “Iran”, “Chile”, “Nicaragua”, etc. All the countries that have had democratic governments toppled by US agencies.

Now the Empire is turning in on itself.

    So you left out;

    Darth Vader vs Emperor Palpatine

  8. Where are all my woman having a poke at this? This is the embodiment of everything that is wrong in the masculin world. The doors open

  9. I hate to be prosaic and boring, but I think that Martyn has it completely wrong here. He is being fed a line. Of course, I agree that the entire Russia narrative is just a pretext. It is just fodder for the chattering classes, but I think this internecine warfare narrative is equally bogus. It is telling that the analogies in this piece, such as “Dr Doom battling Dr Octopus”, are theatrical. The whole inter-elite ideological struggle is as fake as it has ever been and is looking ever more like the antics of professional wrestling.
Step back from the distractions of noise and the yelling rhetoric and the CAPSLOCK tweets and imagine just for a second what the focus groups would have been reporting back to the apparatchiks about Flynn. This is a guy who said that Islam was a “cancer” that has infected 1.7 billion people. Think about how that was going to play out going forward. To paraphrase Tropic Thunder: “You never go full Nazi”, at least not yet.
The US is ground zero for the plague of data-fed dog-whistle politics and people like Flynn are too blatant to be in cabinet positions in that system. He helped secure and bolster the Islamophobe movement and its links to the Trump admin, but he is now a liability. He had to be removed without the Trump admin being seen as backing away from his politics.
A similar thing happened with Boris Johnson in the UK. It was clear that he had been anointed by the establishment as next PM after Cameron; but the day after the Brexit vote, instead of a presumably anticipated groundswell of victorious sentiment for his vanquishing of “project fear”, what actually happened was that furious people spontaneously took to the streets to express loathing of the guy. Once Cameron resigned it became clear that Boris would catalyse opposition as PM. Then suddenly his right-hand man and fellow Brexiteer Michael Gove put his hat in the ring for Tory leadership. In practical terms this made no real difference, but Boris was soon pulling out of the race and the phrase of the day was “stab-in-the-back”. It didn’t make sense as a way of explaining Boris’s abject failure, but it was juicy. The main thing, as with Flynn, was to ensure that people did not get any ideas into their heads about having the power to force their governments to make actual substantive change.
I have followed US politics for a long time and the outsider perspective has inoculated me somewhat as we have come increasingly under the sway of DC politics and our own politics have taken on their style. One thing I have learned, which crystallised for me at the time of the “Scooter” Libby trial, is that if you are a “wonk” and you find something very exciting (the sort of thing that gets you blood flowing and makes you want to tell your friends) then 9 times out of 10 what you are excited about is a piece of political theatre or “Washington Kabuki”. Always look for the boring reality underlying the exciting narrative and always remember that Exxon, Goldman-Sachs, Neocons and other established constituencies are present in every admin. The idea that Trump, with his oil and finance admin, is in conflict with the other the exact same political forces he works with is a little silly, no?

    • I absolutely agree. What is presented as ‘news’ to the masses is all part of a carefully scripted puppet show, designed to make the public believe there is democracy, designed to make the public believe there is dissent within the ruling classes, and designed to keep the public from examining what is really going on or where they are being herded.

The battle for the control of America was lost to banks, corporations and opportunists in the nineteenth century, and what we have witnessed throughout recent decades is an inevitable consequence of the corruption, lies and exploitation that characterise western economics and western politics.

It is abundantly clear that the propaganda churned out by the controllers works extremely well, which is why they keep churning it out. And it is also abundantly clear that the masses will not wake up until the have been thoroughly screwed by the scumbags at the top of the social pyramid. And even after they have been thoroughly screwed, the masses will still support the scumbags at the top of the social pyramid. Mind-control works extremely well on 8 out of 10 humans, especially those industrial societies who believe they are free.

  10. Good fuckin’ grief. What a nightmare.
Pfizer ? Billions of tons of E and LSD please and begin crop dusting immediately.

  11. All I know is I have it with the US government and their never-ending wars. The Lords of War that are the US are turning the world into a toxic violent mess.

It is obvious their economy is addicted to war, their corporate donors pay their political servants to keep wars going and the world gets worse and worse.

Do US politicians give a flying shit that a decent chunk of their own citizens cannot get even 3rd world health care, Nope! Do they care that their own citizens are left behind by free trade deals in hollowed out towns across the land of the free, nope! Do they care that the biggest threat to “homeland security” is their own angry alienated citizens, no siree! It’s terrorists who are Muslims apparently. That Key was on that bandwagon showed what a lie it was.

And yet the Herald, the stupid fucking Herald keep wanking on about trade deals with the US. Are the fuckwits that run that paper even awake??

    • The Herald just serves up the bollocks that it is required to serve up by its corporate owners.

The amazing thing is that people actually pay large sums to acquire propaganda and lies. Well, actually that’s not so amazing when you consider that they have been trained from a young age to believe any kind of bollocks if it comes from a source that is deemed to be ‘official’ or sounds ‘official’. That is why TVNZ gets away with churning out the shit that it does.

  12. more food for thought from ‘The Duran’

‘BREAKING: After Flynn’s resignation, White House says Crimea should be ‘returned’ to Ukraine’ by Adam Garrie

    http://theduran.com/breaking-flynns-resignation-white-house-says-crimea-returned-ukraine/

…”When Michael Flynn resigned (though he had no need to) for having a conversation with Russian Ambassador to Washington, Sergey Kislyak, in which the issue of anti-Russian sanctions was mentioned, the opponents of Trump got the bait they needed for their fake news feeding frenzy.

As Alexander Mercouris breaks down, Flynn did nothing untoward, nothing illegal, nothing unethical and nothing without precedent. He likely resigned in order to save Trump yet another useless distraction, but sadly the side-show has commenced anyway.

Spicer’s statement may or may not reflect Donald Trump’s actual thoughts, I suspect it does not. But the White House is doing damage control against a hawkish neo-liberal establishment that sees Russia as global enemy number one, albeit without any real explanation as to why.

If Trump is going to survive the onslaught without compromising his principles he must unleash his secret weapon, alternative media, and Christian conservatives.

Increasingly, such people see Russia not as America’s enemy but as a natural ally. They see Russia as a Christian nation that stands apart from the liberal establishment of the west which seeks to destroy the family, human dignity, the ability to speak one’s mind and replace it with an Orwellian post-modern parallel universe, where peace is war, night is day, woman is man and man is obsolete.

Russia is a moderately conservative country that many American conservatives can relate to, even those who have never thought a great deal about Russian history or culture in the past…

…Crimea will always be Russia, so the problem is not Russia’s. The problem is that Trump is having a difficult time controlling events and people surrounding him. Trump, as a man, cannot be bought, but he can be sold…in this case, sold down the river.

  13. Trump folded on the 14th Feb anyway, calling for Pres.Putin to ‘give back Crimea.’ Whatever respite, or ‘rational’ gains I considered made by the electoral defeat of the Clinton cabal, blocking their intended war provocations in Syria, have now been thoroughly negated by this ludicrous – ridiculous – statement by Trump; prodding instead, War in Ukraine. As already pointed out, a proven CIA/USAID coup, in alliance with identified fascist entities.

Trump’s “Russia has to give back Crimea” statement, in the face of its clear and mandated secession, is impossible, dangerous and continues the USAMO war projection.

  14. Another swing and a miss from Bradbury, as usual. “Trump wants war with Iran and China”

Um…no. Trump wants FAVOURABLE TRADE with China and knows that it takes a little bit of sabre rattling to get there.

    • Your ‘sabre rattling’ sounds like stage 1 of ‘gun boat diplomacy’ …. which the Chinese know well, from their History of British Warships shelling their cities …….

Killing civilians to make the Chinese rulers lift their ban on opium … which the british were literally selling boat loads of …and getting rich from the resulting addiction levels in Chinese society …….

JSoC diplomacy is possibly the modern usa equivalent ….

but their privatized mercenary Armies could backfire … when the loyalty is to money …. and your enemy has more of it than you . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JxGSY2YC14
