About two weeks ago, George Baker was taken to North Shore Hospital for treatment .

Despite strict instructions not to, some idiot Corrections officer removed his handcuffs at the hospital .

Baker started cutting up rough, smashing up the room he was in.

Corrections officers were that frightened  that they called Takapuna police who arrived promptly. Police wanted to Taser him, a woman Corrections officer (one has to wonder why women were on a Baker escort at all, when previously on a hospital escort, Baker produced a home made “shiv” and tried to escape) stepped in front of Baker and wouldn’t let them.

If things had gone differently someone may have got seriously hurt, or worse. Amongst the stuff he smashed up was a glass jug and other things made of glass that could easily have been used as weapons. I well remember the old days when we used to have glass jugs in pubs instead of plastic , and some of the serious injuries they used to cause.

This was a crazed killer, with nothing to lose loose in a public hospital, with no handcuffs.

Amongst his other crimes, he killed a 17 yr old kid Liam Ashley in the back of a prisoner transport vehicle several years ago . Corrections have drawn a cloak of secrecy over this, to try and avoid public scrutiny .

You, and a few others like you, present a strong case for crop dusting bitter little New Zealand / Aotearoa with Ecstasy powder.
The death penalty only does one thing. It reduces society to the levels of those who create sociopathic criminals.
The guy in question here is as mad as a snake. ( No disrespect to actual snakes. )
Do you honestly think he likes being a murderer? Do you really think that if he had a choice he’d chose to be a dangerous lunatic?
He, in my view, has no choice to make. His madness is blue printed into his Amygdala ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amygdala )
      .
We, on the other hand, should kill the bugger you say. Why ? For spite? Vengeance? The economy of it?
What then, do you think that makes us? Sane, rational people choosing to kill.
      Yeah… That’s evolved. Not.

Poverty, ignorance, brutality and sure, in some cases a natural inclination to be a dangerous bastard. It’s no excuse for society to propel itself backwards to Medieval times.
