The All Black Spying Scandal: All that is wrong about NZ media in one story

Sweet Zombie Jesus.

The All Blacks have their hotel bugged and the NZ media go into a feeding frenzy.

The GCSB is about to spy on all NZers and the mentality from the bloody news media is ‘nothing to see here, go about your apathy Nu Zilind’.

This is why NZ is a nation of sleepy bloody hobbits!

Folks, whatever misdirected but perfectly timed fury you feel erupting in your veins about this All Black distraction, consider that under these new powers we all become the All Blacks.

The current legislation rammed through by misusing urgency by one vote  makes the GCSB the tech support for other intelligence agencies. This was of major concern because allowing a counter-intelligence agency to spy on your domestic population is like using Tanks to direct traffic.

This new legislation will empower the GCSB to launch their own investigations. This remember is an agency who it was revealed this year are racist and sexist towards those they are spying on. The get 24 hour warrantless surveillance. The Government claims this information gets destroyed. Nonsense. A live feed is beaming to the NSA, we might destroy it – they don’t. The law also allows for anyone bringing illegal Government spying to the publics attention to be charged and imprisoned for 5 years.

This represents an enormous jump of power in the GCSB, but no one is noticing that while this bullshit story about the All Blacks is smothering the news cycle.

Are we really this easily manipulated?

The 2014-2015 budget for the GCSB was $86, 843, 000. Their budget for 2015-2016 is $143, 568, 000. That’s almost a $60million dollar increase in one year – what other Government department gets a 75% increase in their budget?

They are powering up to start their own investigations. They are a faceless, lidless eye of mass surveillance but we aren’t even seeing that as the All Blacks being spied on consumes all.

This is less false flag and more moveable goalposts.

  1. Says it all really …. Comedian James Nokise
breaking dialogue from ‪#‎allblacks‬ hotel room:
    “Sup bro?”
    “Tired as”
    “True?”
    “Totes”
    “Mean”
    “Shot”
    “Laters”
    Good luck figuring that out!

    • Like Helen’s Nanny state used to be howling at by key and his cohorts now they send in the mega sized Nazi state so Helen’s nanny state was like “soft porn” to anyone else.

  2. At the same time water contamination is spreading and National are planning to combat this not with a state of emergency but an enquiry. Yes, this is the time for appearances. Guess we should all praise the lord, Health Minister, Dr Jonathan Coleman has seen fit to grace us with his greatness and leave his taxpayer-funded junket in Rio to come back to NZ.

At the same time as the Herald starts to wake up from its self-induced coma and begins to join the dots together that Auckland’s housing market is being heavily influenced by foreign money enough to get Fran O’Sullivan writing in concern. Leaving one questioning why National are so hell-bent on fraudulently covering this reality up, the reality that National care only about speculators and NOT New Zealanders being housed.

And instead we get another boring rugby based storm in a teacup story for the Proles entertainment!

  3. “The 2014-2015 budget for the GCSB was $86, 843, 000. Their budget for 2015-2016 is $143, 568, 000. That’s almost a $60million dollar increase in one year – what other Government department gets a 75% increase in their budget?”
Well, Education certainly doesn’t. In fact, bloody Charter Schools are squeezed into the Ed Budget, putting even more squeeze on normal state schools.

    A bloody sick government.

  4. Yes,….the wee political runt with the dead eyes, hooked nose and ugly teeth is sending all the other pale, flaccid wee gnomes to have a look into our bedrooms….

Talk about internet porn , Trevor !!!

  5. Agreed cleangreen – M$M so hypercritical – it may have been bad in Helen’s day – but it is a million times worse today!!! So where is the fuss….? Silence.

  6. Our dear MSM (“Main Shit Media”) has nothing better to report on, it is easy news, does not require any investigation, and the continuation will be provided by the players and the Australian Police, that is the NSW Police. Also is this the kind of “news” that seems to be treated as utmost priority by so many ordinary folks out there, as the All Blacks are the next best thing to sporting “saints”, hence the incessant obsession and adoration. If there is one thing the average middle class New Zealander takes very seriously and has a collective interest in, it is The All Blacks.

So this is like a matter of “national security”, our players under THREAT by hostile authorities or perhaps even the Australian rugby bosses and players, using dirty tactics. Never mind the vagueness of “matters of national security”, when it comes to the new bill before Parliament, one John Key himself is “in charge” of:
    https://www.parliament.nz/en/pb/bills-and-laws/bills-proposed-laws/document/00DBHOH_BILL69715_1/new-zealand-intelligence-and-security-bill

His loyal servant the Hon. Mr Finlayson was introducing it the other day, and I followed a bit of the debate via Parliament TV.

Even Labour can “warm” to the drafted legislation, bringing our two spy agencies closer together, and of course, giving the GCSB powers to act for the SIS and also other agencies, I presume even WINZ.

The average Kiwi knows what “matters of national security” are, it it will include the All Blacks, have them at the top of the list even, I bet. Rugby is here almost like practiced “religion”, it is the purpose of life for some, it is the game of the “pure” and our “heroes”.

Nobody in the MSM bothers considering that this “news”, leading the 6pm news on both major channels, same on radio stations and in print media, may be something whipped up without much justification.

So they found a device, a “bug”, they say, hidden in the cushioning of a chair of sorts. Wow, what a scandal, what a drama, what cunning and nasty “attack” on our holy warriors on the field.

Who may consider though, that it may have been in that chair before the All Blacks were even there, that it may have been planted by whosoever for listening in to some other persons, who may have used the same room in that hotel in Sydney? It is supposed to have been a “professional” kind of device, the news mentioned, perhaps used by spy agencies there. So what if some criminals or other persons, who may have been “suspicious” stayed there before, and were the ones targeted?

Even if the ones targeted were meant to be the All Blacks, who would be behind it?

We have much speculation and the police are not commenting yet on what they suspect. It may all turn out to be something less to worry about after all.

But they sure did make “news” again, as sports, weather, VIPs, celebrities, the Royals, CRIME, the oddities in the world, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and are the usual fare we get. This time it was our favourite sports mixed with spy stories, wow, a threat to the nation was detected last Monday, it was.

Indeed, I wonder, have people got their priorities right? I am sure John Key is very pleased, it takes the attention away from his new bill and what otherwise also matters, like homelessness, housing un-affordability, welfare scandals and so forth.

Perhaps the lazy, dumbing down MSM may bother studying this for a change:
    http://accforum.org/forums/index.php?/topic/17944-scientist-and-legal-experts-discredit-%e2%80%98evidence%e2%80%99-used-by-msd-and-dr-bratt-when-claiming-the-%e2%80%98health-benefits-of-work%e2%80%99/

  7. Perhaps the All Blacks can now understand what it feels like, being exposed to “attention” from certain agencies, just as activists are usually exposed to?

  8. 2 + 2 doesn’t add up to four here.
If it really was a listening device planted intended to listen in to the All Blacks then what would these people (responsible) think they would hear? Game strategy? secret weapons perhaps?
    Doubtful.
A lot of casual conversation, no doubt a lot of f..words and sounds of clinking glasses and bottles being opened.
    Heavyweight stuff eh?

  9. The power for change is in our hands so there’s no point in blaming the government. We are responsible for our freedom but we have chosen to sit back and complain. We gave government the power. We can take it back. Problem is we think we don’t know how to use our power. We all have an understanding of what we want/need for ourselves/others/the country and it seems to me that’s a great first step.

  10. We are “this easily manipulated” because of right wing media ownership. All the bread and circuses being thrown at us by the media is a deliberate plan by the right. Even RNZ is being “guided” down that path by its right wing management. The majority of kiwis don’t show any interest in real issues and when they occasionally hear something in the background on their TV or commercial radio station what do they get? That’s right – boorish crap from Hosking , Henry et al.
The current state of our media is a huge threat to our democracy.

    • In other words it’s all going according to plan -well the manipulation of the general populace of NZ is (the manipulation of Russia and China are not going too well).

It has to be the way it is because a dumbed-down general populace is an essential component of the international corporate-money-lender economic-political system. The present system would not function for more than another week if the bulk of the populace knew the truth about their enslavement.

The ‘powers that be’ are not at all concerned at this stage because the proportion of the populace that is fully awake and aware probably amounts to less than 1%. The majority continue to clamour for their own enslavement and destruction by TPTB. It’s truly fascinating.

  11. Incompetent spy agencies. The instructions were “Lie on all hacks”, not “Spy on All Blacks”.
