  1. National party member Claudette Hauiti is too biased and is a lousy host because of it. I felt very angry that she shut down Gael as much as she did. I was extremely interested in what Gael had to say, and not letting her have her final word at the end, where Gael felt compelled to quickly have her say, was a very bad look on Hauiti’s part. Gael pointed out early on that people have died as a direct result of National’s punitive housing policies, and Hauiti panicked that Gael was going to relate something more damaging that would reflect badly on John key and his government. What a sneaky pathetic trick it was to attempt to lay the blame on the Lange government of 30 plus years ago, when what’s happening now is occurring under John key and her National party, and it’s on a unprecedented scale probably not seen since the Great depression of the 1920s and 30’s.

The panelists were great, very informative, especially Gael and Brian but Hauiti ruined it.

  2. Stop National turfing out tenants from state homes in order to sell off the land to their developer mates. Stop National from tearing down good sound state houses. Stop National from selling off thousands of state houses. And how about freeing up all those tens of thousands of houses sitting empty, particularly in Auckland. Foreign speculators are letting thousands of homes sit empty. National are letting state houses sit empty with the view of selling them off. National are even selling tenanted state houses, so how many of those tenants have found themselves on the streets?
