Is it a surprise that we have a culture of bullying when we have a PM who thinks touching a waitress on 10 separate occasions is just fun? Can we expect our children to be better if that is the example we set?

Remember the attacks on the waitress from the NZ Herald and Mike Hosking on Seven Sharp? She was denigrated for having the courage to stand up to the Prime Minister by our media, the very same media who are now claiming they want to #stopthehate.

Can we expect better from our children when the Prime M minister’s Office colludes with hate speech merchants to lie, twist and spread smears about public servants? Can we expect better from our children when our Government uses the SIS to smear the leader of the Opposition? Can we expect better from our Children when the PM screams at the Opposition that they support rapists and murderers. Can we expect better from our children when the PM bullies and intimidates journalists who dare to question him.

For the love of Christ, Paula Bennett who is the Herald’s poster girl for anti-bullying was caught smearing a Marae who was embarrassing her by providing for the homeless she has created.

NZ rewards this political sadism by re-electing John Key – if we want to challenge bullying it starts with ending support of bullies.

  1. It doesn’t surprise me we have a culture of bullying in NZ with a PM like ours who is so divisive. I have never seen our country so divided on so many important issues. The poor are paying for the greed of the rich globally.

  2. 100% Martyn,

    This relentless bullying and overbearing control and hate of us all THAT IS DEPICTED and seen inside Parliament on every occasion by these nactinal stalwarts must stop so;

WE SAY “STOP THE HATE PM AND YOUR GOVERNMENT”!!!!!!

  3. Well done, Martyn for reminding everyone what went on between Key and his victim.

I await certain individuals who decry Islam for it’s supposed mis-treatment of women to post comments here, in support of your stance. Will they stand up for Tania Billingsley and Amanda Bailey??

I will be waiting an awful long time, I think.

  4. I recall when Paula Bennett released personal financial details of solo mums Jennifer Johnston and Natasha Fuller (http://www.nbr.co.nz/article/bennett-stands-release-solo-mums-benefit-data-106591) after they had criticised the minister for dumping the Training Incentive Allowance. If that wasn’t bullying by mis-use of ministerial power and her inside knowledge of these women’s personal details, then what is?

The Herald has made a poor choice and calls into question their credibility on this issue.

  5. Ohh dear, a year till next election and still blog posts on matters that the voters care nothing about tsk tsk (excluding the 5 or 6 regular posters on this blog…when is this ‘revolution’ you are all hankering for since 2008?) YAAAWN!

    • Im Right, you are wrong we dont forget this PMs rubbish ,so back to your cave with your club, or better still go and have a lie down ,we are all tired of your stupid remarks

    • Yep, Key’s voters only care about themselves and money. Insular, with histrionic personality disorder traits whom preach the good sermon of Whailoil and will always be at the front of the buffet table alongside Brownlee and Joyce.

Key voters don’t see bullying, they see it as having a “bit of fun” as long as it is at someone else expense.

    • What’s the matter, Imright, showing a bit of pre-election anxiety? Hmmm? Something tells me the Labour-Green MoU is giving you Righties the jitters.

    • Mike the Lefty: You are so seldom wrong but this:”he is a man”???

      You’re having a laugh, yes?

And to I’MRIGHT – Forget the revolution, dear one. Just put the skids under the lot of them.

After that we can settle down to rethinking the means whereby of government, social security, employment, education and so much more of the fabric of culture and civility in this country to make it fit for this century. Then put it in place and keep the dead hand of mediocrity well away.

But, if you want revolutions – sit out on the porch nursing your opinion, and watch the kids on their bikes rolling on by.
