  1. Very sad issue to confront on TV and long overdue.

    Just the mere fact that this is a direct result of Planet key scorched earth divisive financial cut & slash cutbacks, and aggressive shifting of the wealth from the masses and only to a few with no safety net for those masses of disaffected souls.

    Top marks to those who gave input Martyn.

  2. Just to begin the discussion. I believe that suicide is or can be death with dignity when one’s life becomes unbearable and a torture. I believe we should have assisted suicide as in Switzerland with Dignitas and in Holland. This should be available to all who fulfill the necessary minimum conditions and after counselling. In other words it’s a quite logical resolution to an impossible situation.

    The current heartless mean bunch ruling the beehive roost are plunging thousands into destitution by throwing them off paltry survival benefits for technical compliance reasons causing despair and dejection and desperation. Those who have lost everything and have nothing left to lose, lose it! Rage, Suicide and breaking the law are responses some will resort to.

    Little Johnny and his widowed mummy got a wonderful deal when they came here, but Johnny grew up to betray all that had given him a golden start, he has denied the same for kiwis now.

  3. Well spoken Jay1;

    “Little Johnny and his widowed mummy got a wonderful deal when they came here, but Johnny grew up to betray all that had given him a golden start, he has denied the same for kiwis now.”

    Key is toxic cancerous as he is not of the human kind.

    He never was known to be Compassionate ever, and his false persona is just a shell like his character and all his mates inside his Tax haven business he obviously operates as a silent partner somehow.

    Opposition parties must ramp up the exposure of this toxic individual who parades as a nice guy but is an evil divisive aggressive man underneath.

  4. If we decide it’s a good idea to help people to kill themselves, where do we stop? People posting above seem to believe it is good to help other people to kill themselves “when one’s life becomes unbearable and a torture” (Jay1) above. After listening to the programme above, it seems to me people need no help at all to kill themselves when they believe they are in that situation: such people are managing to kill themselves, in record numbers, without help from anyone. Aren’t we better to try and keep alive for as long as possible, as comfortably as possible? Or should the accountants just develop a spreadsheet to allow the calculations to be made “efficiently”?
