Food for thought – we have the next three Wednesdays sorted

Our lunchtime lecture series, Ikanomics, continues this week with Associate Professor Susan St John tackling “The Elephant in the Room.” An economist with a cradle-to-grave focus (her expert work includes retirement policy and child poverty) Susan looks at the fraught subject of superannuation. Join us for lunch this Wednesday 30 March. Jane Kelsey completes the series a fortnight later on Wednesday 13 April, with reflections on the FIRE Economy. Lunch, including a drink and the lecture is $30.

Next Wednesday evening we host a Salon exploring concepts of leadership. Rachel Petero climbed off the corporate ladder to found the RISE2025 programme, which develops concepts of leadership with indigenous woman in the corporate, community & government worlds. A RISE participant, Tiowaana Harrington will join Rachel in an evening of story-telling, contrasting dominant & “new world” leadership practices, & exploring the notion of individual versus collective leadership. Come and share a delicious meal & korero with us – bookings are open now. The cost for the evening, including dinner, is $32.

And don’t forget museIKA – our musical Mondays which will continue every fortnight from Monday 4 April.
