  1. for anyone at all interested/puzzled at the rise of the next ‘socialist’ president of america..bernie sanders..

..i will make the bold claim that i have the best curated-coverage of that (surprising to most) rise..anywhere..

..(going way way back when i first called him for president..and for why..)

    http://www.whoar.co.nz/?s=bernie+sanders

(and if anyone knows of a site with better coverage of the rise of the bern..please let me know..and i will link to them..)

..i have done 176 sanders stories/links…with my first approving post on bernie in 2006..i have long looked favourably upon the bern..eh..?

..and his success seems to me to be inevitable..he is ‘cometh the hour cometh the man’.. writ large..)

..and my ‘dream-team’ post-election will be sanders picking elizabeth warren as his vice-president..then we will see some arse kicked..

..then we will see our ‘revolution’..

  2. samantha bee from the daily show has her own late-nite comedy-vehicle..it’s called ‘full frontal’..and it debuted last nite..

..the linked piece on jeb bush is very bloody funny..

(and like it was with the daily show..is this another quality show we won’t get down here…?..

..i mean..who the fuck chooses/buys the largely complete and utter crap that is on broadcast tv..?..their taste/critical-facilities are clearly in their arses..eh..?

..given the amount of quality shows they bye-pass..and the unadulterated shite they pour all over us..)

  3. Phillip we need as new global leader as the last one was a paper tiger and tool of the very corporate’s that are waging war on our very selves today.

    Good blog for all.

  4. On Boom Bust’ an examination of the financial crisis in Europe…also USA politics and the worries of the likes of Goldman Sachs and Citibank

    https://www.rt.com/shows/boom-bust/331812-greek-markets-low-index/

“Global markets took a tumble on Monday, with Greece’s main index hitting a shocking 25-year low. Ameera David has the details. Edward Harrison then joins the program from Berlin to offer more insight on the state of the European economy and the troubles it’s facing as the union of nations faces a multitude of challenges. Then Steve Keen, professor of history, economics, and politics at Kingston University, gives his thoughts on the damage he believes Brussels is inflicting on Europe.

After the break, RT’s Anya Parampil sits down to discuss Wall Street’s growing worry over the possibility of a Sanders presidency. And finally, in The Big Deal, Manuel Rapalo discusses Washington DC’s proposed experiment to pay trouble makers thousands of dollars in an effort to keep them out of jail.”

  7. I just saw this on line: Caitlin Huey-Burns ✔@CHueyBurnsRCP

‘And the wife voted Bernie “to send a message to Hillary.” Said she would vote Kasich over Hillary’

[This is in reference to the crazy endorsement of Hillary from Madeline albright : “on Saturday when Ms. Albright, 78, the first female secretary of state, criticized Mr. Sanders’s “revolution” and said electing the first woman as president would be the real revolution. She then repeated one of her best-known phrases, telling the crowd, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!”

Ms. Steinem, 81, and an iconic spokeswoman of the feminist movement, told the talk-show host Bill Maher that young women supported Mr. Sanders to attract the attention of boys]

  8. Bernie Sanders delivers his victory speech after winning the New Hampshire primary.

“What happened here in New Hampshire in terms of an enthusiastic electorate, people who came out in large numbers,” Sanders said. “That is what will happen all over this country.”

“Tonight we serve notice to the political and economic establishment of this country that the American people will not continue to accept a corrupt campaign finance system that is undermining American democracy, and we will not accept a rigged economy where ordinary Americans work longer hours for lower wages while almost all new income and wealth goes to the top 1%.”
