SUMMER IN THE SQUARE

On now until 19 February
This long weekend at Summer in the Square a myriad of awe-inspiring street performers arrives from around the world – crazy, fun and wildly talented, you won’t want to miss any of the action at The Auckland International Buskers Festival!  Check out our daily lineup of buskers below and join us as they create an electrifying atmosphere in Aotea Square. Make sure to look out for the whimsical and acrobatic pair Duo Looky and the comedic dance crew Beat the Streets and many more from Friday to Monday.

There’s so much more to enjoy at Summer in the Square. Dancing under the Stars returns with Auckland Popping Community teaching us how to pop, lock and drop, and the brilliant SJD and country music star Delaney Davidson take the bandstand stage for free concerts the whole family will enjoy. And those are just the highlights – check out the full programme at aucklandlive.co.nz/summersquare

  1. I hope they stage an anti-TPPA demonstration and sing protest songs on the evil of TPPA as big brother enslaver of rights to democracy.
