The Conservative Party are such a joke now, that even I can’t tell what is satire and what is actual policy.
Take this for example…
…it was posted by a Young Conservative on their Facebook page, I have asked Colin Craig directly on Twitter if it is a real Conservative Party message or if it’s a joke.
He has yet to reply.
So, let’s hope it’s satire, but assume for a short period of time until we can determine it’s authenticity that it is in fact a statement authorised by the Party.
A couple of questions:
1 – Is this just the most ridiculous attempt at arousing the tough on crime lynch mob you have ever seen?
2 – Why is it a woman who is cleaning the toilet? Is that the only career path open to women if the Conservative Party gets into power?
3 – How many women live and sleep next to their toilets?
4 – It’s not even true. Prisoners clean their own toilets, you think Prison Staff do that???
5 – National passed law that forced all prisoners to become press ganged into prison labour camps. If a prisoner refuses to work they can’t get parole, so what the fuck does the ‘we think Prisoners should work doing time’ crap mean? They are already forced to work or they get no parole, which in itself is highly questionable because it is forced labour.
Surely if you are attempting to whistle up an angry tough on crime vote you should at least attempt to a) know that Prisoners clean their own toilets and b) they already have to work inside prison.
The only way of telling if something is satire or actual policy from the Conservative Party these days is if you get a defamation threat from Colin.
Maybe it’s trying to win the vote of attractive young women who are sick of cleaning the toilet after their boyfriends have been particularly gross and not cleaned up after themselves.
Somehow I don’t think young women are the Conservatives target demographic.
Yes, they are alleged to be “far too promiscuous”, which may also mean, they are unreliable “swing voters”.
Guess if I were a conservative voter I would sigh in appreciation that the little woman is cleaning the toilets for the men folk!
Otherwise do these knob ends not realise that prisoners already clean their own toilets? They do, true story but this is an inconvenient fact for popular bedtime myths.
Fuck sake Conservatives, try harder, a lot harder and work out what really are the problems in society and come back to us. And delete the term “we think” its misleading!

I fear this is not satire or a joke, they really want to bring in hard labour for prisoners, it is written in their program and pamphlets. The Conservatives are trying to overtake right wing parties on the right now. Mr “Colon Cringe” (aka Colin Craig) is not just anti same sex marriage, in favour of smacking kids, he also wants to bring in work for the dole and such policies, I believe.
It will not be Colin Craig alone who comes up with ideas about advertising slogans, pictures and posters and their contents, they must have some other nutty campaign workers employed, who are capable of the most ridiculous and hideous ideas that they use to present to the public, such as this one.
Prepare for more mad and bizarre stuff, I think Colin Craig has indeed compromised his “soul” and has chatted with the Prince of Darkness, just look at some of his photos on the bill boards and so.
I heard an interview the other day about the use of disgust in political campaigns as an effective way of swaying voters, usually used by conservative parties to malign a particular group of people and drum up support. Much like using fear based politics before an election about immigration, etc etc.
Nothing more disgusting than a dirty CRAPPER…. unless your talking about National party economic /social policy…with its neo liberal effluence.

From a marketers perspective and young women – I feel you’re are missing the point. Well you’re not, you’re right…but to me this post speaks more about emotion than the actual facts. As we all know most people don’t vote based on research and facts, they vote based on who they like, who the media like and who appeals to them on an emotional level. Although I admit this is a bit of a strange tactic, it is interesting all the same, and speaks to me on on a different level than perhaps yourself (I’ve been that woman). – Not to say that I’ll be voting Conservative..his eyes freak me out ha!

A friend, who is also a corrections officer, pointed out on the Young Conservatives Facebook page that this is inaccurate, and that prisoners already clean their own toilets. His comments were deleted and he was blocked from their page. They’re not interested in the truth.
Another good truth down the toilet ….seems like Colon’s halo’s gotten a bit tarnished as of late…
But I suppose you need a good filter in the plumbing to flush out the blockages when the truth clogs up the smooth flow of shite.
