I’ve never been happier with more of a spring in my step brothers and sisters, the righteous justice of what is about to happen has had me singing “Oh Happy Day” for the last 14 hours.

Now where’s that timer?

  1. I have been hoping that the $100,000 bottle wine was actually sold at a NATIONAL fundraiser. That would be priceless.

  2. Whats happening!! ? Bc I saw a biography being released today and thought, how much more contrived can election year get! (visits to USA, AB game in USA, MSM myopic lens) was too early in the morning to tear my hair out. So any good news at this stage will save my mop. lol

    • A pity helen got rid of hanging for the crime of treason as he should be tried for treason and murder(drone strikes) nz government is not apparently de jure government but a company registered in washington d.c.

  3. Is this related to ‘THE’ book which came out today?

Did anyone else see the hard copy of the NZH this morning, which has Key’s biography as headline news? Then to add insult to injury, there’s a two page spread inside, with published excerpts! Subtle promotion or what?

No doubt we will be subject to “in your face” images of Key and the bloody book, right up to election time … tick tick tick tick …..

    • You’ve got to love the benevolent kindly smiling John Key photos, a PR man’s dream!

However there was at least 4 pages of dedicated to Labour.

One page was still trying to justify the Donghau Liu smear.

Then Labours “plan to sock the wealthy” with tax rises (and while they are at it lets really ignore yet another petrol tax rise, about the 5th at least under Key that will affect the low earners more than anyone).

Then the editorial, “Labours plan to tax the rich unnecessary and flawed”. Pretty easy to see where that one was going.

And lastly (there may be more but I gave up reading this rag) Claire Trevett starting off looking vaguely objective, then resorted to type putting the slipper into Labour and the Greens yet again whilst mitigating the National Party’s – pay off a minister for a donation – bent fund raisers .

So there was almost balance in volume to some extent from the Herald, it’s just none of it was even slightly positive in tone and or content.

If National don’t poll over 60% with all this unadulterated bullshit then they have failed miserably but I guess us idiots now know who the Herald want us to vote for!

    • And I might add that the Herald can publish excerpts of this fairy tale romance novel from now until election time too and who would be surprised!

    • It’s as subtle as a brick through your front window.

In other words, it’s as subtle as anything the Herald has said about politics for… ages.

Maybe this will make more people wake up to the Herald’s biases. It’s a sad fate for a paper I used to respect.

    • @ CJ – just seen TV3 polls and it’s all PR bullshit as usual! Paddy “the muppet” Gower throwing in Key’s book for good measure, as well as the most glowing reports of the PM and the Nastys popularity and ratings.

Then came the sniping at Labour and Cunliffe. IMP not too bad at all. Greens up, but that was very quickly passed over! Not a good look for Gower to praise the Greens.

Still waiting for Martyn to come out with the goods, about what he knows and is making him so happy. Come on Martyn time to relieve us from our suspense. Please, pretty please Bomber.

    • Guessing…impending legal action in the lead up to the 2014 election?
This election is already one of the most exciting. Missing Citizen A right about now – have you thought of doing a couple of pre election specials?

  4. John key resigns because he has to admit to calling police and interferring in investigation?
