Last nights Campbell Live at home with David Cunliffe and Karen Price was as beautiful as the Hone and Hilda Harawira one.

The David we saw on Campbell Live, the kind, intelligent and funny David, is the David I know and I’m glad the rest of the country got to see it. The other joy was NZers seeing his amazing partner Karen, whom I suspect Murray McCully will be approaching shortly to offer her a job.

It’s well worth a view if you haven’t seen it.

  1. I’m impressed . You posted my comment re inequality . I was about to be miffed . Thank you .

I do truly hope Cunliffe is up-front . I hope the bees were not wrong . And that funny looking chicken read him right .

Where there is life there is hope . And there ceratinly was a lot of life at the Cunliffes .

  2. I think this is the David Cunliffe many others see and yet he has a preferred P.M. rating of about 9 per cent. How does that work?

  3. Great to see the Cunliffe’s and their menagerie, so relaxed at home. Karen is amazing. David honest and smiling. Nice to visit with Mr. Campbell. Let’s make them PM and partner! Some people we could be proud of.

  4. New Zealand needs to wake up and pretty dam quickly,as to how fortunate we are to have someone of David Cunliffes’ calibre, moral compass and unwavering resilience.
Do people out there not realise how rare it is to find some one with these qualities who is willing to go into bat for the citizens of their country. To have such an inspiring woman by his side is just icing on the cake. She is also amazing!
But will the cake be appreciated or be left to languish on the shelf.NewZealanders are good at backing the wrong horse.Partly to do with our lack of sophistication. We are a gullible bunch;hence the dutiful unthinking fawning over that shallowest of people ,Key.
Wake up NewZealand, for Gods sake,WAKE UP!!!

  5. It would be interesting to hear Karen Cunliffe’s honest views on her husband’s political party’s policies on mining, as an unbiased environment lawyer.

    • Worlds ‘BEST PRACTICE’ is the bottom line benchmark is my understanding from statements released. That’s pretty clear.

      • World’s “BEST PRACTICE” sounds pretty vague to me.
I would like to hear something more specific, for example, stopping deep sea oil drilling and the removal of the “overburden” on Denniston Plateau even though Bathurst have stopped mining operations.

        From this link…
“Although Bathurst would not carry out mining on the Denniston Plateau until international prices recovered, it would go ahead and set up in readiness to do so, Ms Baxter said.
”This could include the removal of the ‘overburden’, the beautiful, biodiverse-rich landscape,” she said.
