If a tree falls in a forest, does Simon Bridges hear it?

  1. Bridges owes his meteoric rise in the National Party due to his total lack of empathy with anyone outside of his social class (rich yuppies) and being a total John Key yes-man.

  2. Given that Bridges is unable to talk and breathe at the same time I would seriously doubt that he could hear and think at the same time, as well

  3. This is the man who is so ignorant about politics that he doesn’t realise that the Greens have never been in a coalition with Labour…

“Hon SIMON BRIDGES: There are over a thousand such areas, and I had not heard of all of them. One wonders whether the member had heard of the four permits for coal mining in the Victoria Forest Park when he was last in Government, including for open-cast coal mining in the area he now purports to be concerned about.”

Either Bridges was lying (on three occassions that same day), or he is woefully ignorant. Neither bodes well for his integrity.
