Politicheck has appointed Pete George as an editor. Pete is a right wing blogger who has made all sorts of allegations about The Daily Blog in the past and his appointment nails his colours to their mast.
The Right appreciate the role of the blogs and will attempt all sorts of distractions until the election. Politicheck will be one such distraction.

It might not be entirely worthless – PG is an enthusiastic pedant. But for balance they should look for a good investigator with left credibility – Nicky Hagar perhaps, or one of the folk from here.
