Just when you couldn’t believe the Sky City Deal was filthy enough, it’s now getting a subsidy from TVNZ’s lower dividend, Steven Joyce just admitted in Parliament that he didn’t even read all the papers for this scam and the supposed extra jobs are inflated?
If it was a dirty deal done dirt cheap, that would be at least fiscally responsible, this SkyCity deal is a dirty deal done bloody expensively and incompetently!
I’m not sure what’s worse, our Prime Minister pimping for a bloody casino or Steven Joyce admitting proudly in the debating chamber today that he doesn’t read all the reports, not just for this decision, but for all the decisions he makes.
This Government is held together by snot and hope that the public stay apathetic.

Thanks too , to the earthquake which is why I now live in a small rural town . It’s Presbyterian church , while violently ugly , is closing for lack of interest and yet when I go into our larger neighbouring town a few K away for some gouging and depressions at the only super market , their Lotto outlet always has a cue at the counter which is handily located right at the front door to make sure Lotto gets your money before you spend it on unnecessary items like food . I guess its better to be hopeful rather than well fed in jonky-stiens Land of Everything .
We have a Prime Minister who understands how to get money out of the vulnerable and a Sub Prime Minister who cares less for his constituents and more about developing his plump wattles to compliment his sneering , smug , contemptuous disposition .
And yes , us Kiwis are an apathetic lot I suppose . Or is it something else ? Another characteristic that’s in us innately ?
I think it might just be that we’re feeling beaten down , robbed of hope , terrified and depressed . The day by day trials of just getting by for most people will have a deflating effect . Huge bills and increasing costs of living combined with shit wages and shittier working conditions are cloaking our spirit .
I used to think that before we purge ourselves of fucking jonky we’d have to have another government in place to pick up where the little ‘lady garden’ dropped us in the mud and left us for dead but you know what ? Fuck that ! Lets just get rid of him now . Today . Anarchy would better than this . One of the many things that perplexed me about sheep farming was how one small dog could herd 3000 sheep then terrify them into complete submission until one or two sheep would make a break for it as a sacrifice to the predator for the good of the greater herd . Come on, do not be so nasty and unfair, New Zealand is “clean”, “pure” and “100 per cent purer” than any other place on earth.
Even John Key is amongst the rulers of one of the “least corrupt” countries there are, he is “clean”, he is “honourable”, he is “trustworthy” 24/7, and what comes out of his body, sweat and else, it smells and is like “nectar and ambrosia”, none else.
We are “guided” by a government that has only our well being in their interest, they are so “good” and “well meaning”, they would never do anything wrong to us, would they?
Steven Joyce is a “gentleman”, of full honour and respectfulness, he can of course not read everything put under his nose, as there are many “underlings” to do the menial tasks for him. They are entrusted to do a good job, and so they do, 24/7.
Does anybody have any distrust in this so valued and highly truested government? Think again, you would not want to have somebody knock at your door late at night, do you?
Do you really want to have them keep and eye on what you do at night, who you call via mobile, smart or landline phone, which websites you load on your computer late at night? Ask no more, we live in a “clean” country, so we need no filth spreaders that tell the people what they should NOT hear.
