Prehistoric? The last time I worked in a library with a card catalogue was 2004. Admittedly, it was in the Middle East, not NZ, but still… It is pretty freaky that only 30 years ago, that is what public access to a large database looked like. Yup, indeed, Milt… Though the first question that would pop into *some* peoples’ minds would be; “where’s the porn at?”. And how would kids would look for “Justin Bieber”?
